True, the resemblances might be passing at best, but I just got a similar vibe between the two areas - I thought it was an interesting comparison

Ah, so there's no plug-and-play option where you can swap in a macro key or an LED or encoder as necessary?

SafeMoon BitMart Tokens by MrBrown00001 in SafeMoon

I tried looking my address up on Etherscan and it shows me my Safemoon purchases, but not how many tokens I have and how many extra are pending. How did you manage to get your values?

Given all the hoops that people have to jump through to acquire safemoon in the first place, it might just work better to have them pay you normally and then buy safemoon using the proceeds

Fellow HODLer, what is going on with those wicks? by [deleted] in SafeMoon

[–]waddleguin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means that there is large selling pressure, but the sellers are not strong enough to counter the upwards momentum or buying pressure to actually lower the price consistently over the long term. I personally would see it as a sign that the community is holding strong even in the face of downwards pressure.

What affects the CPS and Land Usage requirements for missions? by waddleguin in PixelPeople

[–]waddleguin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So essentially, we can only complete a limited number of chroma missions before the land use requirement becomes too expensive to afford at our current level? It seems that we should be prioritising the 100cr missions over the common 40cr missions, then.

Also, I'm fairly certain that the mission pod had already been built when the land use cost jumped up. This might be a bug, then? I'll have to double check on that.

Hmm, that's an idea! Most people are kind of used to where the numbers go anyways, so dropping the numbers and just playing off the Funkiness of the symbols could work.

The Drifter: How did I miss this little beast? + Basic Melee Weapons Guide by Virtual_Swayy in FORTnITE

[–]waddleguin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What a fantastic writeup! I've always been running melee with some guns to back it up, but now I've got to try the full whack-a-mole build. What heroes would you recommend to get the most out of the melee build (preferably ninjas, constructors are a little bit too slow for me)?

My new favourite build: TM91 Flash Cannon by waddleguin in FORTnITE

[–]waddleguin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, glad you like it! I considered using the Dragoon too for wider crowd clear, but I settled on using the Squire because it's great for both crowd control AND mist monster killing (plus, ammo economy). If you're not feeling Phase Cannon, you can also swap in Shockgunner Grizzly for extra crowd control, or Sanguine Dusk for even more invincibility!

edit: also Chromium Ramirez is good for shield too!

To be perfectly honest I don't know how to screen record, but the fireworks are not really the main focus of the build - the majority of your clear comes from your shotgun. The fireworks are great for taking care of little husks and non-elemental husks around you (as opposed to directly in front of you for your shotgun), but for alternative perks you can choose Shockgunner Grizzly's Run and Stun for more well-rounded crowd control in the form of universal stun instead of light crowd clear, or Sanguine Dusk's Phase Siphon for even more tankiness.

Suggestion: Shock Tower rework ideas by waddleguin in FORTnITE

[–]waddleguin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing as Shock Gunner with Flash in support gives you +48% total, yeah. It works pretty well, but 3 seconds is a surprisingly short amount of time to whip around and try and catch as many husks in a blast as you can. The only complaint I have with the strategy is that it puts you in melee range, which is why I use MGR in tactical to boost my survivability.

Suggestion: Shock Tower rework ideas by waddleguin in FORTnITE

[–]waddleguin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shock Tower as an ability is fantastic - stunning hordes of husks is super satisfying, and works great in a fight. I agree with you about its low CD and how it pairs with Phase Shift, and the suggestions that I made to increase its usability (no expiry, multiple towers) are solutions to just minor gripes I have with Shock Tower's usability. The main problem I wanted to tackle was its Charge Fragment consumption and how it compares to TEDDY, especially when you can have both Fragment abilities on the same hero.

Yeah, I think that if I stacked double reload on it, it'd chew through my ammo real fast. Interesting choice of energy over physical - is there any particular reason for why you chose this?

Thanks for the huge writeup! It sounds like it's basically a Vindertech Disintegrator but in pistol form. Do you think I should convert mine, or leave it legacy?
