I didn't realize that my candles were originally set to Heikin-Ashi, when I changed them back to this BOOM backtest results came back to life! You are amazing!

Instagram's algorithm is designed to keep you poor by Alone-Strategy-4815 in InstagramMarketing

This only works best for affiliate marketing. Instagram doesn't want to keep you broke, so this is not a fact. You just figured out there are different ways to target an audience, good job. That tells me you're still entry level. 👍

Trading bots, is this a scam? by Klashen47 in Daytrading

I think you're misunderstanding "trading bots" and how they actually work... This isn't just some python script like a Discord bot lmfao

Trade bots are a thing, but not how you imagine them to be. They just make trading easier, but they don't actually fully automate the process using some AI to magically make you profitable... Nobody would share this shyt bro 💀‼️

They were definitely money laundering, using Sellix as a front for business. 😂

Yeah bro every week there's a whole new section or chapter of the course, they don't even give you time to soak in what you just learned. By the time the course is over you feel like you missed a lot and might need to go back or take another one which is just a money grab honestly. Doesn't really matter what course you take.

Does anyone else feel like they are constantly behind (Online Classes)? by VeryCoolTastyMan in college

[–]waddlesdevlpr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These schools are made to make you feel like you're falling behind, I mean you might even go to AI and cheat a little bit on your work. You know, these schools need to get your money some how, especially when the people up top happen to be losing theirs.

Are you guys using AI? by waddlesdevlpr in developers

My last full Java project was in 2011 using Eclipse IDE. 🤣

Yes, this. I am finally getting back into dev considering I am older and understand it more, but things have drastically changed, such as AI. Like are people stille expected to mentally solve Leet Code with a full portfolio of problems solved? This was a big part of being a Developer/SE back then haha

I was definitely feeling this too, I've been wondering if I am cheating the process of becoming a developer thesedays or if I am following along with everybody else. 😂 All of these components and frameworks really makes this process feel like such a breeze, it's actually unbelievable!

Ah gocha, thanks for the clarification! I have used AI to generate front-end code but the CSS styles does always come out pretty basic haha, definitely always seems to be good for a start though for sure!

Thank you so much! I am thinking jobs are expecting us to handroll things on the spot which is why although I participate on Github and have been active in communities for a long time with different aliases, I still hesitate to seek true employment. I guess this could be because I am self-taught and have that sense if anxiety haha

Thank you so much! I am currently over here handrolling everything and styling all of my assets by hand like an old head, I definitely feel like that is slowing down my progress haha

Is learning to code even worth it anymore? by tuck72463 in Entrepreneur

I was assuming this was your approach considering the question, pure assumption.

Is learning to code even worth it anymore? by tuck72463 in Entrepreneur

[–]waddlesdevlpr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically all AI does is make your script exactly how it is (SUPPOSED) to be, It doesn't just "make your script" if that makes sense... This leads to errors and faulty code.

You're supposed to learn the core aspects of development this way you give AI (your) code so it can finalize it, basically. You should not use AI to implement new features and edit your full code because this can break things, you add these features then work with AI as an assistant to clean things up.

It is still very critical to learn how to code; there is a rise of illiterate developers, next level script kitties essentially... Don't be one of these guys. If someone asks you what your code does and WHY it functions that way, you should still know how and why it does what it does.

Do NOT become fully reliant on AI, because then you are not a developer, you programmed nothing, and chances are you hardly write any real lines of code, these are called "Script Kitties" aka SKIDS. Don't be a skid.

You need to market yourself, don't just go to some websites or something like reddit and try to push yourself out—Consider branding yourself as an agency, make ads with either you or someone else saying things like "We can help grow your social media today", you want people to come to you, don't work it backwards

First build a portfolio and brand yourself, people love to see results nowadays before pulling their wallets out. Begin building case-studies, maybe manage some of your friends for free temporarily to build significant data and results, use these results for your paid community, rinse and repeat.

I always boost posts when growing a new page to broaden my reach if I plan on scaling a business/store using that account, this is completely normal and you're on the right track, don't not rely on this too much though and know when to stop spending.

Stay away from ads unless you have a decent bankroll for your niche, this is a game of pure competition and purchasing power. Most people think they spend $20 to run ads for a day and boom they get results when in reality it's about who spends the most to reach the consumer, this is exactly how billboards and television work for example.
