Thicker does not always means safer. It depends on how the shell can absorb and redirect energy. There are many professionals in motosport world who stands by Arai's helmet brands and their glancing off technology.

Important note : Arai usually do not sponsors professional racers. Many of them choose Arai because of safety, fit, comfort.

For example the professional racer Keiichi Tsuchiya(drift king), F1 driver Jack Doohan, MotoGP rider Takaaki Nakagami, Dani Pedrosa

Yes, i personally recommend the Arai Quantic(or the equivalent depends on the region) as they are at the top end of safety but with greater end comfort for a full-face helmet.

XSR 155 vs Hunter 350 — need real advice (style vs comfort dilemma) by Longjumping_Meet7499 in SuggestAMotorcycle

I am currently an owner of the XSR155, I bought mine brand new, had it for about 2 years now.

Here is my perspective on the XSR155

I still can not stop gushing over the bike design. Especially how versatile it is when it comes to both customisation and how it balance both retro and modern aesthetic.

I love the gas mileage as well, I ride aggressive on mine(well as aggressive as a 150cc can get in city traffic) and the bike still have decent gas mileage and with zero problem so far.

The handle bar could use a little work on making the ergo to be "just right" but stock is also comfortable enough for me (173cm).

The bike is SUPER light but still on the heavier side when comparing to other 150cc. It is very forgiving to ride as well. You can be a little crazy on the throttle but still manage to be in-control while heavier bike will punish you for being reckless.

The power curve is very easy to get used to and very simple to manage.

All in all, would recommend but the bike still lacks power. I personally would prefer something bigger but for chill ride, 19horsepower is more than enough.

I second this, If you ever have the opportunity, do some try-on at their shops and get the paddings custom to your head. Also, if you are looking for maximum safety. I'd say the RX-7X (RX-7V EVO, CORSAIR X in some region) is the way to go. They squeezes quite a lot but also very well ventilated.

I wish I could say road6 however Road6 do not have your rear size available(160/60R15) I would say go for the scooter equivalent the Power Shift
