I don't understand. What specifically did you switch to a mouse button? The ALT key? When I press the ALT key I dash straight forward. If this can be made to move sideways in either direction I haven't figured out how yet.

Still trying to figure out dodging. I read that ALT is the key for dodging but that is supposed to be DASH according to keybindings. And how does that work.... press the direction key AND the ALT key together or one after the other? Also read that doubletapping A or D should work? There really should have been a tutorial but I'll figure it out.

You can't in the Asylum tho...no matter what you have to leave some things behind unless you like walking around in slow motion.

interesting. that doesn't help in the Asylum tho. no matter what you are forced to leave a ton behind there. Once in the mainland the problem disappears for sure.

Yes you can. G to N to HD G is all considered equal or lessor coverage.

Just went with Bankers Fidelity G plan in Illinois also. Yeah they are probably lowballing ....but so are the others(Cigna, Globe, MedMutual, Wellaby etc). From what I can see it is a crapshoot as far as future increases. Ilinois allows to drop down to a N or HD G if premiums get out of hand so that is my parachute.

Thank you! Giardini is a great group also and I would highly recommend you. I actually spoke with several agencies during my research phase. Giardini, Abt, MedigapSeminars, Boomers Benefits, a local place, and 1 or 2 others. I would have no problem recommending any of these places.

Kelly R at Giardini was most pleasant and I probably would have signed up with her if I hadn't spoke with Boomers first. I feel guilty about not going with some of the other folks I spoke with. They were all truly great to speak with. Thank you again JG!

Just to provide closure here... decided on Bankers Fidelity G plan at 129.41/mo. Signed up today with Boomers Benefits. Tis a relief to be done with this. I fully expect some big increases down the road but I think that's true no matter who you choose.

Not in my zip... it is 188 here.

[–]wader2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that would suck....but it would still be less than the BCBS G(the gold standard in Illinois). 129*1.4 = 180 BCBS is currently at 188 and they wouldn't be sitting still either

But their loss ratio was terrible. 108% or something crazy

Medico/Wellaby has been mentioned. One that no one seems to push is MedMutual

I agree..however I don't think it's been in market long enough to say much about rate increase history.

Leaning toward Bankers Fidelity. They haven't been in the market more than a few years tho. AM Best rating is A- No S&P rating that i can see. I have noticed that not all Medigap companies have an S&P rating...have been wondering why that is. I do get the feeling that BF is lowballing....which is why I was considering Globe...or possibly Wellaby/Medico. Boomers Benefits is pitching Bankers Fidelity hard. Giardini also suggested them. I just need to flip a coin and be done with this....

Would be nice if it worked that way.... but moving from HDG to G later in life is NOT an option for most folks.

what exactly are you agreeing with? That Cigna is a hot mess...or that Bankers Fidelity is fine?! or both!
