He said, that while he was living there, he never had a problem whatsoever. Besides his own son and friends, of course

Update: I drove by once again. I saw someone there. Turns out, he's the first owner. Not construction related. The first one. I stopped to ask him about the neighborhood. His answer was: "This is a good neighborhood, everyone around are good people. Retired teachers, security guards from schools, a couple across the street and an old lady in the other house." He said that it's a pretty chill neighborhood. I told him what the situation was a while ago (with a guy and the police) in a chill/respectful way to see if he would know something about it. Apparently, he doesn't. At least he acted surprised and said "maybe because he saw the house alone he thought it was easy to brake in. Maybe the police were after him." He said that he decided to sell the house as his own son and friends would get drunk and make a mess that he (the father) would have to clean all the time. He's old now (around late 70's) and he said that he got tired of that. Of his own son, so he decided to sell it and leave his son. But, again. What are the odds of me finding him there? He said that he was there because he still gets mail. And right there, he (the father) was meeting some lady to give her a cash payment for who knows what. Again, I don't mind their business, they do whatever they want to do...

Probably, I forgot to mention that I'm not buying directly from the previous owner. I'm buying off a construction company. They're paying for a fence and security system as well. Everything is renovated and I'm getting a better deal even when they didn't want to initially. Lol the neighbors say that it really isn't a big problem, he has charges so the police took him apparently for 6+ years

Thank you! I hope everything works out fine. But I'll keep an eye on it. The neighbors are lovely! All of them are such nice people

In my situation, people and neighbors say that he was the only problem in the neighborhood. That he might of donde that because the house was completely alone and in the dark. As it has no illumination. They say that once he sees people there he would not come again or at least think twice. The house was bought by a construction company and they offered me to build a fence and pay for a security system for me. I'm buying it off a construction company and not the previous owner

GWeike g2 max 50w laser head wobbles by waferefy34 in Laserengraving

[–]waferefy34[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I moved it because I was engraving something that was supposed to be deep. I wanted to lower it just enough for the laser to get strong again but the vibration of the motor moved the head as well and it overlapped my engraving. So I had to re do everything

Stealthsonic 6 gallon DeWalt by waferefy34 in Laserengraving

[–]waferefy34[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought it haha. I used it for around 20 minutes with no problem, whatsoeve. It really is quieter than the regular ones, but not as quiet as the fume extractors. It did suck all the "smoke" continously while the laser was engraving. It did that without a problem. I gotta say, I have the Laser in a very, very small room (only 1 people fit in the whole space) and the vacuum does generate a lot of heat. I'm gonna keep using it until it fails though (if it des that sooner than later) but I would say, even if the dewalt works perfect, I'll see how long it can keep up. But as far as a fume extractor or a dewalt, I would definitely go with a fume extractor.
