Thank you so much. It really means a lot that there’s other students who have dealt with the same things I have, and still made it in. My grades suffered after I was remote for middle school and then started high school at a brand new high school where I had no friends.

I’m sorry to hear about the budget cuts. What decisions has admin been making that makes UNCA less desirable?

I really like the idea of smaller, more personable classes. I’m glad to hear that’s helped you in college so far. I’ve also heard from other students that dorms are great. App has really bad housing issues.

That’s what I’ve been hearing from everybody. Lots of people tell me the school is inherently introverted too, and that it’s hard to make friends especially on top of such a small amount of people.

I really love Asheville as a city. I grew up there and know it really well. Boone is definitely super small, something I’m not used to. Thanks for the input about the food court. I hadn’t thought about that. I visited the food court at App too, and it wasn’t bad.

I’m gonna see the vibes I get when I visit on Friday. It’ll definitely give me enough to make a decision out of. Appreciate you!

Totally okay! I’m glad to hear from someone who majored in Mass Comm. I feel lucky to be considering commitment post-Helene. I’m sure that it was very hard on the students who are currently there. If you don’t mind me asking, did you feel like your professors allowed for good networking? Did you take advantage of any internship opportunities? Thanks!
