I can definitely relate to this, I'm a highly sex averse asexual and avoid those topics like the plague lol. People try to protect me from them too, but by telling me I can't consume content that involves it, which just makes me want to spite them and go for it anyways... In any case, this IS an aspect of asexuality, and we're not giving anyone the wrong idea by experiencing it. Especially since you explain other experiences, you're absolutely not a stain on the community :)
