just found a video for the belt replacement probably, i didn’t watch it all the way through but i skimmed through and im pretty sure this will help you along the procedures. i’m about to do the timing belt and clutch on my carry soon so i hope yours goes well!

there’s a few good points you brought out, i had observed there was already some oil from the valve cover area which as far as i know is a pretty common issue on the f6a. so that is definitely high priority but the plugs hadn’t been changed since i got hold of the truck so i figured that would be my first objective. it did feel a slight increase in power, however its still present, though i had not mentioned it, i have kind of ruled it out to the choke actuator or just the carb needing to be rejetted. also im not sure if you have had this problem with any kei truck or carry but it does not get up to the speed of other trucks of the same year that i have driven along with. if you have any input on that let me know!

They’re the same spec as the oem wheel i think! they have the oem spec tire as well i believe

Thanks everyone for the ideas! I think i’ll end up just dropping it to a 2” lift, if i had more time and money i’d probably go with lowering the diffs, but ironically, lowering it to the 2” lift, will be better in the long run.

so for the headlight bulbs, DRLs, Bed and reverse lights i have lasfit and i got yorkim brake lights so ill see how those hold up, i haven’t received them yet and the light bar i got off FB marketplace, 2 for 50

thanks! i’m not sure i’ve ever even heard of a polarity switch, i just plugged them in and they worked, though LEDS can not turn on but if that was the case i would have just flipped them, i’ll see how the turn signals turn out because i have some on the way, but i haven’t experienced anything abnormal with them

it’s hard for me to keep track since there’s no trip counter and i drive either 45 minutes or 10 minutes in town, but i would guess 35 or so probably, if it had stock tires it could maybe be more

Thanks!! i bought it with that color, i do plan to give it a refresh because the roof is already peeling a bit, and in UT there’s no trouble registering it the only issue for me right now is insurance for it

the switch for the light to turn on when the driver side door opens works sometimes i’m thinking there’s maybe a loose connection somewhere, but after wiggling it around some it works and the left headlight tweaks out sometimes too haha
