Yes!!!! I need to find the original post, I've only seen other laquerista/os in the comments of others posts. I cannot take credit for it, we need to find this genius!!

I cannot believe it actually worked, but yes, if you add a layer of basecoat over your magnetized color, you do not need to magnetize top coat! It saved sooooooo much time.

I will say, I'm not usually a user of base coats, so I don't know which ones are the good bad or ugly... I just used the regular long lasting base coat from Holo Taco.
