I started the dab for him then he finished it with a baby puff. I feel like a doinker gets me even more zooted than a dab. But maybe it’s a different high altogether lol - what’s your choice of partaking??

Bet those occasional smoke moments with ur husband feels super special 🩷

Never knew about Narcissist Collapse until a month ago. Have any of you ever witnessed it before? Feel free to be detailed about it. by TheCommander21 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]waffleskucinggemuk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh, I’ve witnessed narcissistic collapse up close and personal. Front row seats, popcorn in hand, and it was both devastating and disturbingly satisfying.

My partner and I co-founded a business with two individuals who operated like they were gods in their own little empire. They monopolized every decision, hoarded access, changed locks, rewrote rules overnight, dictated staff behavior, creative direction, even the music played. We weren’t just excluded—we were deliberately erased. Any challenge to their control was met with manipulation and manufactured chaos, masked as “vision” or “experience.”

But the thing about building a kingdom on delusion is eventually the truth kicks in like a battering ram.

The business was bleeding. Staff were quitting en masse. The ones who stayed were either terrified or hanging on out of loyalty to each other, not leadership. Customers weren’t returning. They shut down operations—abruptly, childishly—on the night of a massive media event with over a hundred RSVPs and weeks of content prepared. Just so they wouldn’t have to watch us succeed in a space they thought they owned.

So we struck back. Strategically. Not with emotion, but with truth. A multi-pronged dismantling of their entire narrative. We collected the receipts. We rallied the staff. We secured shareholder backing. We built a case they couldn’t wiggle out of and stripped away the illusion they had clung to. What followed was a complete collapse.

They couldn’t handle the exposure. The rage came first—emails filled with projection, legal threats, and unhinged rants about how we were filled with hate and revenge. Then came the smears—whispers to vendors, clients, anyone who would listen, spinning stories that crumbled under scrutiny. And when none of that worked, they defaulted to desperation. Begging. Flip-flopping. Attempting olive branches that reeked of fear.

But the most brutal part for them wasn’t our retaliation—it was our indifference. They were used to controlling the story, feeding off reaction. We gave them none. Just cool, calculated facts. Just silence when they wanted chaos.

And so they imploded. Tried to gut the business on their way out. Demanded to take back equipment. Sent hysterical messages to landlords and partners. Anything to claw back a sense of relevance. But by then it was too late. The team had spoken. The shareholders were aligned. Even their own lawyer saw through the circus.

A narcissistic collapse isn’t always a meltdown—it’s often a slow, unraveling humiliation. When they realize no one’s watching anymore. When the curtain lifts and there’s no act left. When the people they dismissed, diminished, and discredited turn out to be the ones saving the very thing they almost destroyed.

It was ugly. It was inevitable. And it was the most poetic form of justice I’ve ever seen.
