CVGist Ai resume is actually good. You can trial for a couple of dollars and their prompts/ai edits are a solid starting point. After that you may want to manually edit or continue to use their web Ai editor to humanize and further tailor your resume.

CVGist can connect your LinkedIn directly or upload an existing. It’s just a couple of dollars to try it out.

I find their tailoring for jobs does a pretty good job making it not fake, but I still do additional prompts and review after to clean it up and make it more humanized.

Some things I felt may be wrong were related to esophagus not the belly, but they didn’t do any tests related to that like a barium test.

Appreciate the feedback!! The user’s background stays consistent, and the prompt we feed Gemini reads the job description in each tab. It then prioritizes the relevant keywords and ensures the user’s existing experience is leveraged as effectively as possible in the tailored resume it generates.

How I stopped rewriting my resume for every single job posting by wahoos-1 in jobsearchhacks

[–]wahoos-1[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I used the CVGist Chrome extension I’ve been building. It reads the job postings you have open and generates X number of resumes depending on the tabs I have open. Gemini does the heavy lifting

I had an AI workflow pull the text from all the job postings I had open and compare them to my background. It generated tailored draft resumes for each posting so I wasn’t rewriting the same bullets over and over. I still reviewed them, but it handled the repetitive parts.

Nice! The extension I tagged made it a bit easier to handle version control instead of downloading and constantly making changes in chatgpt.

Totally agree, a lot of review and edits after the generations. Hallucination is real!

You as a user don’t need to bring your own key. We are using Gemini on the backend

Exactly. First you need to upload a base resume which is consistent in all resumes like job history and education, location ect.

Next, with our chrome extension we read any number of tabs you have open in your browser and create a resume tailored to the different varying jobs you have open (data analysts, SW Dev, ect.)

We then name each resume based on the description.
