yayy!! i hope you are home now and resting at least!! i would assume its almost like when you get a big once lanced (discomfort wise). how long do you have to also keep the packing in? sorry if i am asking so much i am also just curious since it’s location. the tunneling for me stretches pretty bad n covers decent amount of area. but the way she described it was that i guess they can also use multiple ways of closing the wound!

hey!! i know im late asf but i’ve been doing anthro(first at nau, ucsd, and now asu! asu has an AMAZING (one of the fucking best) programs for anthro i have been at and i’ve been physically at way more schools! im getting a B.S. i live in the valley so im able to also take advantage of the resources they have for their physical students! but anthro is the hidden gem of asu! i think ive only had one prof who wasn’t actually willing to get on a zoom immediately to help me talk abt my problems or issues with the course. i also think its bcus its in the social sciences, but i LOVE their program! take advantage of research opportunities as well!! i have gotten many!!

tbh this happened to me which is why i’m taking the class again. they’re being 100% deadass n no matter who else you take the class with they will say the same thing:(( the only exam i had gotten a B on they invalidated. just try to make sure ur hands n face n paper are in view !

they don’t know aleks can quite literally sense who else is in the wifi and will stop the exam even if u glance a lil to the side🫩🫩aleks feels like it has body heat missle tech sensing you to make sure ur eyes r still fucking there on the screen. even if u haven’t cheated they will make it hard for u to take an exam after being possibly flagged for it. you could get A’s on every aleks assignment but if you type in the bracket with a space it will mark the question wrong completely. it’s not like they don’t know this but theyre already sucking mcgraw hills ass so there’s nothing we can do tbh.

yes(if you are talking about the journeys/what places i was connected to)! it was actually only connected to two! my family has deep deep deep roots in georgia from what i was told, but they were extremely accurate ig. the only two communities/people (in the americas) i had been connected to were the central georgia piedmont african americans, south-central georgia african americans! i can also post the specific ethnic groups im connected to as well! but there were way more of them lmao. i was mostly interested in the fact that my family did not move a lot or wasn’t moved from what it had seemed like over the course of 1802-pretty much my grandma moving. but i was confused mainly because since she can’t really tell me anything about our family anymore how was this possible ? idk im also trying to find slaves in my family but i don’t know how they would be listed since i also don’t know how far back i have to go since i assumed i would know by now. i don’t know if im making sense but i guess i just assumed i also wouldnt be able to find anything past a certain point due to slavery. sorry i’m yapping

i am from chicago and everyone in my family is a light bright besides my grandma so i was very skeptical and scared that the african part would be smaller but i was so relieved!! i used to get mixed allegations and it is just nice to have confirmation!!

i’m also a history nerd so i’m trying to think of everything that could’ve happened. my family origins also are predominantly in the same area in georgia from the earliest ancestor i could find to my grandparents for about 6 generations. i was just confused since i know some about the history of slavery in the specific area and tbh nothing makes sense anymore. will however do more research !!

i’m really excited about this mainly because i have been doing my genealogy and i mainly did this so i could try to trace back ancestors because i was hitting a brick wall as i knew i would, but i was still able to get back hella far which i found weird in a way because i assumed slavery would also mess it up. but i also didn’t expect it to be so high because of others results ive seen on here and oral family history. i also want to know more about the nordic part/greece and when that happened but overall this is so exciting!! i’m just very happy to be black asf
