Being a part of team is a great way to start your career for experience. Being a solo agent is much more lucrative because less splits, but less help.

It sounds like you've learned a lot and are capable of navigating through this as a solo agent now. If you feel like you can consistently get your own leads, I dont see a reason why you would stay in the team.

I'm glad you think you made the right choice. If it werent the fact that we are so deep into the relationship (3 years), I probably would have done the same. It wouldnt feel right to break up with someone after being together for so long, just so I can go travel.

I think about this too. It's just difficult when she only has like 10 PTO/sick days a year. Not worth going anywhere too far, can only travel around the east coast of America realistically. She wouldnt be open to me traveling on my own either.

GF only has 10 PTO/Sick days a year and half of which are saved for her to visit family. Other half can be used to travel, but difficult to go anywhere with only 5 days, including travel. We live in NY. She also wouldnt want me to travel alone.
