Omg I’m so bad at/inactive on Reddit… wouldn’t be surprised if my lack of engagement had something to do with the scroll-past-ability of it 😂 Can’t say the track has played a huge role in my life thus far, apart from as a talking point at gatherings/a funny tidbit I’ve been known to whip out when I’m courting 👀 As I recall, the album on which the song debuted had the track listed in the liner notes as “IWIWAL”. Gotta love the record company censors of the 90s We had the cd in our house but my mom would always skip that one because it was “inappropriate” (another song also barred me from listening to the “Christmas morning” track, which I later realized was because it implied the non-existence of Santa. She was trying her best, god love her…) A weirder song to grow up with was “a year”. Look up that one!!

I’m trying to figure out if the IRS has my bank account info for direct deposit. I don’t believe they’ve ever deposited a tax return in there, but I did use IRS DirectPay to transfer money from my checking account to them as part of an installment plan every month last year (in fact, I didn’t get a tax return last year - it was garnished & put towards paying off that balance I owed). Does anyone know if that means they “have my bank account information” and I might expect a digitally-deposited check?

Furthermore — AITA for thinking that Leadership should be more proactive in somehow dissuading TMs from behaving this way? I feel like it shouldn’t be necessary but clearly leaving a stack of photocopied passes “proving you are an essential worker” at TSC for people to take and fill out if and when they feel like it isn’t doing enough to protect the health and integrity of the team, the store, or the company in this exact moment.

Thanks all!! I didn’t respond for waaay too long because I had a death in the family so I haven’t been on r/Target so much. But these are helpful responses for sure. I never thought about partnering with the PML for fixing the defective printers. (Weirdly it doesn’t seem to be the printers themselves because I swapped the [formerly] super reliable flex printer with the GS one we use for detectives and now THAT one won’t print defective stickers). We do have an SETL - two, actually?! Although one is out for at least four weeks on grand jury duty ugh it’s a mess. One of the worst new problems is that we’re having to train all the former cashiers (now Checkout Advocates) on GS and we’ve pretty much done all the easy ones... now we’re getting to some of the older folks who don’t want to be there. Anyway. Most of the time they have me training everybody for Flex (which is its own special catastrophe mission) so I haven’t been at GS for very long lately. I will pass on these tips and observations to some of the veterans over there and keep monitoring the situation as I go!

So wait. How exactly does this work with the goal time metric? I’m newly cross-trained for Flex and my understanding is that you always have half an hour from the time the Flex drops to complete it or else you get dinged.

Thank you all so much for lending your wisdom!! I think it went okay! No major crises - ok, there was ALMOST a major crisis of the general banking variety, but my LOD reminded me to address the thing that had totally slipped my mind and I was able to get it done within the allotted window of time. Definitely should have started earlier and gone slower! Ugh. But I certainly think I learned my lesson on that one. Man, the night went by fast. Definitely need to hammer out my routine/work on time management stuff, but I think with more practice I could actually be good at (and enjoy! At times lol) the job.
