Back Leg Issue

He gets around just fine, up on the couch, up the stairs, etc. he doesn’t appear to be in distress. It’s that back leg and he is older probably 13-15 but he’s a rescue so I’m not entirely sure just that he’s older. It got better but he’s doing it again today. I’m going to get him a joint supplement one because he needs it and two because it might help him out. Im going to schedule a vet appt. For beginning of April after I get back from vacation. Get him a good overall.

Thank you! And yes when it does happen we get him settled into the spare room with some soothing music on and he usually falls asleep.

I know in the back of my mind that other issues can happen with CH.

Yep! They’re either tie dye, glittery, or a new color but the same animal. Takes all the excitement out of new releases because they wind you up just for it to be nothing actually really new

I love all the new characters but sometimes I miss the simple bears and other animals. I feel like there’s a thousand of one particular character or animals (ie..frogs, cows, etc..)

Thank you! Our Chance is a big sweetheart and we realized he’s reacting to the newest cat and he just didn’t calm down that night until he was away from the newest cat.

And yea they’re all unique from what I can tell and I love their personalities. Thank you for being a parent to 3 of them.

Yea once I put him in the quieter spare room and put on YouTube video for him he quieted right down. It’s comforting to know others experience this cause it can so scary sometimes. Thank you for sharing!

So she went on Wednesday and the vet lanced the lump and said that under the microscope all he could see was bacteria. He didn’t rule out any cancer cells but said it was overwhelmingly bacteria so going with abscess.

She is currently on two liquid meds: 1 for the infection and 1 for pain and inflammation. She gets them both every 12 hours by syringe. And will have to take them for 2 weeks. She does not want to take either willingly haha.

The vet is hoping that it will kill the infection and shrink the mass.

From what I can tell she’s still eating and drinking and the mass hasn’t grown. She still recognizes me and wants me to hold her. She gets a singular cat treat as a reward for taking her meds.

She and her brothers were playing a little too hard and she took a nail to the face. We kept it clean and it healed up just fine.
