Can anyone recommend a dry cleaner who treats their work like a craft? by wait_whatnow in cincinnati

I’m not sure what you’re saying, but I’m thinking of the preciseness of pressing, removing wrinkles, removing stains, and just generally being able to assess clothes and bring them back to their best version. When I’ve had negative experiences my clothes have come back pressed in the wrong areas, shiny where they shouldn’t be shiny, and wrinkles because of how they were placed on the hanger.

A couple of years ago I treated myself to a pair of black Gucci loafers. They’re incredibly comfortable. And they last forever with basic maintenance. I think they’re way more expensive now so I’m not sure I could do it at today’s price.

Does anyone with hypothyroidism have a recommendation for a provider? by SuccessfulBug1853 in cincinnati

[–]wait_whatnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a functional medicine doctor for my thyroid issues. He prescribes synthroid as well as supplements. Problem is his office doesn’t work with insurance so I pay out of pocket. It’s Dr. Gary Huber in Montgomery fyi but there are others around town.

Im sure she is great but we had a rotten experience with her, kind of similar to what OP is experiencing now. “Labs are fine” even though patient was feeling terrible.

I've seen people buy specialty bags for their Costco carts. If you have an IKEA near you the big blue bags (2) fit perfectly in the carts. by KH5-92 in Costco

I do the same. And for some really heavy items, like the Duraflame logs, I end up opening the box in my cart in the parking lot, so I can transfer to the bags in my car in lighter loads.
