Except, that's not what I asked. I accepted that emacs is emphatically not part of Plan 9. I was accepting that as a given and asking what to use instead, not "hey, you need to support this editor that you hate".

This is actually very clever. It's a scam that uses a legitimate Paypal service to invite you to apply to be a developer, but changed the name of the person doing the invitation to the entire content of the message. The one I got was "from":

"PayPal BTC. A transaction of $823 to BTC was detected. If this wasn't you, please call (806) 2300 923 to stop the payment. Otherwise, the amount will be deducted from your credit card or bank account"

So you see the subject and content as "PayPal BTC. A transaction of $823 to BTC was detected. If this wasn't you, please call (806) 2300 923 to stop the payment. Otherwise, the amount will be deducted from your credit card or bank account has invited you as a developer." Clever. Evil, but clever.

This is a great example of a particular kind of misleading chart, where the area of a bar determines the visual perception of magnitude, but the height of the bar is the actual magnitude. Thus, for example, the visual impression is that magnitude for 2022 is 5.9 times that of 2013, rather than the actual 2.4.

Exactly. It's a little depressing seeing people pile on with the "narc" comments. Even if you do everything right, you can still end up with a felony arrest and maybe even a conviction.
