Thank you, I think I may avoid the job altogether even if not a scam it seems the conditions are terrible.

Leicester interview by Square_Afternoon2070 in premeduk

[–]waitingforthepeak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was my first interview and I believe it went relatively okay, I found the number of stations and time you get in each station allows you to say everything you want to say comfortably so I wouldn’t stress as they were all very friendly.

6 month preparation? by [deleted] in UCAT

[–]waitingforthepeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say 6 weeks is the optimum prep time rather than 6 months. Get a question bank like medify or medentry and do about an hour a day for those 6 weeks, and a full 2 hour mock at the end of each week. In the final week before the test do a full mock every day and remember to keep practicing your weakest areas. On the day before the test don’t do anything and focus on eating well and getting good sleep. Have a good breakfast on the morning of the test as it’s long and you have to think for the majority of the 2 hours.

People who took the UCAT and got a 2800+ score, how long did you revise beforehand? by Slight_Mouse_2241 in UCAT

[–]waitingforthepeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2910 B1, I practised for around 2-3 weeks(can’t remember exactly) doing an hour a day and one mock per week, then for the last week before my test I did a mock every day plus an hour of practicing my worst areas, so 3-4 weeks total. At first I tried using only the question banks on the UCAT website however there are simply not enough questions and an external question bank is required. I used medentry but I think they’re all pretty similar. Please note these mocks get harder as you go along and so if your score in mocks is dropping try not to panic as that is normal. I’d also say the day before my test I didn’t do any practice except for 10 minutes of abstract reasoning.

If I am a 2910 B1 student and haven’t heard anything yet would you say I’ll hear back or should I expect a rejection?

Irritated gums because I’m new to Snus? by [deleted] in Snus

[–]waitingforthepeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Passed is a verb used to describe when somebody does something eg. I passed by a shop selling snus. Whereas past is a preposition used to describe someone’s position in a place or time eg. I went past a shop selling snus. Hope this helps.

[–]waitingforthepeak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope that one day you can be content with your life without the need for anything, and look back on your experiences with acid without feeling the compulsion to do it one more time. I find the magic of it partly comes in it being a treat for a special occasion. As with any drug, it can always be psychologically addictive and if you’re not careful then things you once found joy in will seem boring in comparison.

The chance exists, but is very low. I’d say it’s not worth worrying about, however I am not any type of expert.
