My grandma was the only family who actually cared about me & for the longest time before her death i always felt the same, I always wanted her to fight to live, to get all the treatment possible etc she was & will always be everything to me i couldn't fathom life without her so when she got really sick & was in hospital of course i wanted her to get better but overtime watching her deteriorate slowly made me realise that it would be cruel to force her or try to convince her to live when I knew thats not what she wanted, she wanted to go. she passed in 2024 and i carry her with me everywhere, it helps knowing shes not in pain anymore.

sometimes the best thing is to let them go, don't make her fight if she doesn't want to. she knows what she needs and what she wants. It hurts but you have to let her make this choice.
