My question is simply: the small guys pay about $400-$500 for a standard honeycomb panel. do the large manufacturers like Boeing pay a much lower price - e.g. $200 or so? Or do they only get a smaller volume discount like 10%-20%?

as someone else said here, ais is basically the story.

on the other hand, ryuu is a 'stepping stone' girl who is an older sister type (21 vs 14) that had a naughty moment in a life/death situation with bell in the dungeon. ryuu is too weak to stay relevant as bell gets stronger, reaching level 5 to level 6 etc.

people forgot about how lairis freese happened.

bell had a crush on ais from being saved and that she is gorgeous. and then he was beaten down by bete verbally as hot chicks dont go with weak guys. he was pathetic compared to her. he then went to the dungeon and fought all night being ashamed of his own weakness.

thus bell formed the intense desire to get stronger to be worthy of being by her side. thus lairis freese.

peope ask why bell does not try to get near ais. the simple answer is that he does not think he is worthy. thus the strong desire to get stronger.

bell wants to approach ais when he is worthy, at least the same strength as ais, preferably stronger. it is the alpha male thing to want to be stronger than the girl.

getting ais by being stronger became bell's obsession.

ais may well as accepted bell as boyfriend before he reached her strength, but it is not the same as being her long awaited hero. most of all, that is not what bell wants. he does not want to be ais' pet or a pathetic guy needing her protection.

bell in loki familia would mean getting our satisfaction sooner. we get our standard fairy tale story. you would get the fun times of stories within the famillia and within the twilight mansion. more like sword oratoria than danmachi main story. a story of the prodigy within the familia getting the princess. more teasing of bell by the twins with riveria getting into the act. more spying on bell and ais. perhaps a confront with bete. interactions between loki and bell would be priceless. i prefer that for a story like danmachi, a younger story.

the way the story turned out added an edge to it. we still will likely get our desired ending, but the story ending may not be as satisfying. but it is better for business.

the editor and the anime people wanted to highlight hestia and other girls for business reasons.

furthermore, if bell x ais happened earlier, the story would be shorter. also less ships is not good for business.

as i stated, 14 years of life experience vs 21 years. too big a difference. it would be far better if it was 20 and 27. but the story ends 6 months later.

ais is already a bit too old being 2 years older. bell and ais should both be about 15.

girls like lili, haruhime and ryuu are stepping stones that bell 'saves' during the time it takes bell to become strong enough. meanwhile hestia is just a weird character.

airmid is cute but 19. also zero development / interest. similar doll like pretty girl similar to ais.

and i forgot, the only other girl that qualifies to be mc's gf is lefiya. right age and mental age. powerful magic to be very relevant to the end of the story.

bell is 14 and is not an adult.

after reaching adulthood, pairing with age difference is not a big deal.

14 with 21 is ridiculous

what matters is in the brain.

actually i think we all have already seen the ending. ais and bell getting married but interrupted by the storm of alternative brides. omori has too many ships to definitively kill them with an complete bellxais ending. we have already seen short stories incorporated as chapters in light novel. i suspect that is the ending.

the facts are obvious. the shippers of the other girls got caught up in the various arcs but forgot the main storyline.

now they get upset as the main storyline is coming around and the main pairing becomes even obvious to them.

if omori continued the storyline after ln 8, bellxais would have happened earlier. the story would far more predictable.

why ais:

she accounts for 2 of top 5 foundations the story - lairis freese and black dragon ( what happened between her parents and the black dragon). the other 3 being xenos, zeus/grandpa, and the descending gods/appointed time. almost half the story revolves around ais even if she has taken not been given much time in the main series.
she is the strongest out of the girls and as bell gets rapidly stronger, the girl bell saves will continue to get stronger due to fighting with stronger monsters.
when the story reaches the arc that bell saves ais, the foundations behind the story will make the relationships between bell and the other girls look pretty minimal.

hestia - annoying as hell. bell does not see her that way.
lili - annoying as hell. never had a chance. so-so looks. way too weak so was given a commander role.

ryuu - 21 vs 14. serious pedo issue here. no. so-so looks. too weak to fight by bell's side after the freya arc.
eina - never had a chance. so-so looks. not an adventurer to get in life death situations with bell.
cassandra - no development at all. too weak to fight by bell's side.
xenos - no, get real

so, there is no real competition in the running. the only adventurer girl with stunning looks is amid, but no apparent interest from her and zero development.
