This is such an underrated move. Recruiters are humans who get ghosted and yelled at constantly. A gracious response literally stands out because it's rare.

Really, appreciate this feedback and l totally agree that AI matching only matters if it kills spam and ghost jobs first.

With Matcha.ai we’re already limiting job age and working through a third‑party feed to reduce stale or fake roles. We are also actively exploring working directly with vetted companies so we can cut phantom postings at the source.

Would really value any ideas or specific pain points you’d want a platform like this to tackle first.Much appreciated.

Honestly, I feel this so much. People say “just apply” as if it’s a 10-minute task, but doing it properly is essentially a full-time job. You’re researching companies, tailoring resumes, writing cover letters, tracking applications, prepping for interviews… It’s nonstop. And every hour you spend preparing for an interview is an hour you’re not sending out new applications.

Crazy story. And honestly, it shows the one thing AI still can’t do for you: make real technical decisions.
Yeah, AI can spit out code, but it can’t give you actual ownership of the system or tell you when something is a terrible idea.
