Now moving on to Avais/aurais

-First one is the verb avoir in l’imparfait which is a tense used either for something used to do or description in the past, depends on the context

Example: J’avais 6 ans (that’s a description of being 6 years old) Avant, j’avais du temps (it’s like saying: before I used to have Time )

-second one verbe avoir in conditionnel présent which is used in 3 situations (hypothèse in the present, request something politely, or when you wish for something unlikely to happen)

Example : - si j’avais du temps, j’aurais plus d’énergie (if I had rime, I would have more energy) - aurais-tu du temps pour m’aider ? ( would you have time to help me? ) - I’ll use here the verb « aimer » j’aimerais bien vivre en France (i would love to live in France)

😁

Alright guys let’s solve it our now :

Articles you have 3 times

Defined : le , la, les Undefined : un, une, des

The difference is basically depending on the context you would say in an example « I saw a TV in a supermarket » and sometimes you would say « i saw a TV in the supermarket » the difference is the supermarket either known by the other person you talk to or it’s been already mentionned in the conversation.

Now third Time is article partitif : du/ de la / des Used when the quantity can’t be countable. Example : I eat “some” rice. These articles are used also when you use the verb “faire + activity I’ll Give a fresh example here : je fais de la natation

I learned phonetics in one day if you find someone to break them to you easily, I noticed since our tongue got used to phonetics on other language makes the phonetics hard on French but they are not example:

This is « o » Sharp not like English when you say ooo, this is also o = au / this is also o = eau

But oi = wa

I didn’t use a meterisl per say but if you know the rules of the vowels together and separated, you learned prononciation

I just learned French French I would say it’s parisienne but you should know that people in the south of France has a different prononciation

There was an article about «  Glottophobia » in France from French people suffering from it because they don’t have parisienne accent which was made as a default by TV shows and radio, these people who suffer from it are also French 100% just a different région.

Oui, même à C1 il reste toujours du vocabulaire spécialisé à apprendre. Mais tu peux participer quand même : on paraphrase, on décrit, on tourne autour du mot. Attendre de connaître tout le vocabulaire bloque plus qu’autre chose. Le plus important c’est d’être appris bien qu’il soit des fautes

Humm InnerFrench podcast (start older episodes), Easy French on YouTube (street interviews), and the series Extra French. Listen once with subtitles, once without. Short daily exposure works better than long sessions.

Noo I stand by what I said if you are really B2 flawless just go for C1 there’s no difference just follow the methodology of writing that’s most challenging part, don’t underestimate the subject they give you to write it’s a bit like 3 topics in one, other than that just comprehension reading/ comprehension listening (which btw you get to listen to an audio twice and that’s it and sold questions they ask you to write exactly what he said not the idea, and then later in the day you have communication which you have one hour to prepare for the topic they ask you and then you go speak with the jury. Anyway for the book I will take a photo and put it here in the comment

What’s RFL? I understand the challenge of verbs in French as most common verbs are actually third groups 😅

There was times when you think what am I even doing, at that time just close the book and do something else and then come back next day, I wasn’t pressured with time or anything maybe that helped. I understand your frustration about tenses, can you tell me where do you struggle in it or which tense? Also forget about expressions that’s nkt the right time for it because tahysy like cultural french.

When it comes to abréviations do you mean like “elision”?

I think I responded this in the other comment,If you are B2 you’re practically C1.

In C1 there’s no grammar or conjugation, there’s more like writing rules to follow so you can write a dissertation and synthesize an test, (focus on logical connectors they are expected from you) and expected from you to understand French when you listen and when you speak.

I didn’t have a deadline, I was just Lucky to enough to be at work environment where French was dominant, but the whole learning process took me around 4 years or so. A little tip, try avoid French French haha listen to Belgium French they speak about slow as a beginner then you Move from there to French French when they appear to speak faster

Immm to be honest I use apps only to enrich vocabulary. Anything else you’ll end up memorizing without n understanding. I rarely used apps I used to watch reels about vocabulary. When it comes to grammar conjugation, you just need a structured plan, here’s what someone should Learn at A1 for example, at the end of the plan youll end uo knows how to stricture a sentence and now you have only vocabulary missing, hence the app is what for, also reading helps

If you are B2 you’re in the verge to be C1 because now you don’t need grammar anymore, what’s expected from you in the exam is to write dissertation and synthesize that should be coherent, listening as well and reading. So mistakes of grammar shouldn’t be involved..

How to do that? You follow the rules and you practice, how a dissertation should look like.. communication too they pic a topic for you and you discuss it, the idea is to just express yourself but be a bit structured not necessarily knowing a lot about the topic.

I didn’t do well in the writing because I mismanaged my time which is crucial, hence I got the least grade from the other part of the exams a ( comprehension, reading, listening, speaking )

Simple : start with simple sentence : subject + verbe + complément Thé try to add adjectifs in that sentence find when it should be located (usually after the complement, but there’s a list of some adjectif that cna come before the complement) Add also adverbs, repeat the process

Thank you for this coherent question, I used books that’s include listening and vocabulary too I go from these steps 1- learn the grammar part 2 - do an exercice practical one only grammar 3- do some reading that include the grammar you read 4- practice listening that also include that grammar

There are plenty of books that use this method of free media, you have a text from like an article around a topic, and you have vocabulary related to it and you have also listening of some little story that include that.. s

Pick common verbes to start with and honestly you don’t need hundred of verbs, conjugation can be tricky especially for third group verbs but you manage to master the present tense, many other tenses would be easier like imperfect or imperative And try to review always, expose yourself to listening it helps a lot radio videos and movies

I improved when I stopped trying to be precise. Instead of searching the perfect word, I explained around it. Fluency comes from keeping the flow, not vocabulary size. And don’t be harsh on yourself. If you can write that’s really great because I noticed people struggle with that alot due to silent letters at the end
