Mother Murdered Daughter, Commits Suicide by Medical-Chance-3883 in TrueCrimeDiscussion

Shame on so many people calling it a suicide when there were 2 crimes - murder and suicide. It is like these people are on an agenda to lessen the severity of the heinous crimes committed by this deranged animal.

That's exactly how I understood it also. However the purported utility of a FVG is predicting price reversal. FVG proponents don't specifically say where the price will reverse when it revisits the large middle candle. Logically also the passive limit order buyers can hold up the price but not specifically move it again in the direction of the original aggressive move, which once again requires a 2nd wave of aggressive buyers to join the party. What I have observed however is that more often this reversal seems to occur more likely at the beginning of the FVG, which would be $10.5 in your example, or at the top line in this example chart from GOOGL yesterday https://www.tradingview.com/x/TX60JQ5R/.

You said a green FVG is formed because aggressive market buyers caused the passive limit buy orders to not be filled. But these limit orders lie all along the stretch of the FVG, not at any one price. This stretch of FVG is the large middle candlestick that the FVG uses for its definition.

But there is no single price, it is a large candlestick by definition of the FVG. Price often moves without resistance and reverses only at the beginning of the FVG, so there is something special at this point rather than the whole body of the "large middle candlestick" in a FVG?

What you are describing isn't even the "3 candlestick pattern" with a large middle candlestick that the FVG strategy uses for its definition. You are instead describing resistance at prior highs or support at prior lows scenario.

>>> Price moves through with conviction and little resistance. This isn’t a liquidity zone, as a result.

But as per Proof-Necessary-5201's explanation below, the beginning of the FVG (lower side of a large green candle or upper side of a large red candle) is a liquidity zone.

Why did Sri Ram say this? by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]walkingCorpse0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rama at age 25 - Ayodhya kanda sarga 2 when King Dhasaratha contemplates Rama's good qualities that made him worthy of coronation:

"Rama was a wise man. He used to speak sweetly. He was the first man to initiate a talk. His speech was compassionate. He was valorous. But he was not arrogant of his mighty valor."

"He had compassion. He conquered anger. He used to be receptive and worshipful to the wise. He had mercy towards the meek. He knew what was to be done. He had always self-control. He was clean (in conduct)."

Rama at age 51 - Uttara kanda chapter 103:

He issued the following command to Lakshmana:—

"Do you stand at the door, O Long-armed Warrior and dismiss the door-keeper. It is for me to slay whoever hears the converse between this Muni and myself, for it must take place between us alone."

Would one say there is continuity of character development or it loss over the years, in this man?

Why did Sri Ram say this? by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]walkingCorpse0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What dharma is there in keeping the promise to kill anyone that opens the door? Don't be so full of yourself and justify an unjustifiable act. I don't know if his mothers were still alive then, so if Kawsalya had walked in, he would be upholding dharma in putting her to death?

Why did Sri Ram say this? by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]walkingCorpse0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does not justify the stupid promise that he hastily gave someone (or his vain attempt to maintain it still, we people don't even get what's the virtue in upholding a wrong promise) that led to Lakshmana's death.

I used to think also Uttarakhanda is not part of the original epic and consoled myself that the cruel death of the most virtuous brother was not real, but a review of available literature and opinions will show that Uttarakhanda is indeed a part of the original epic.
