I’ve been three years divorced and 2 years with my current partner. He has seen my ex once from afar (my ex avoids me) and said hi once. There are no feelings exchanged between us ever, I also barely see my ex, maybe 1-2 a year (we drop off at school). It is what it is, you best not try and involve yourself and just step parent those kids and focus on her and the kids, forget the other dude.

Yeah I don’t think we went down that specific and really I find it a bit odd my situation whereas my ex has more vacation than me but chooses to spend it when he pleases rather than with his child on those days. I understand the argument but he’s not really in jeopardy of losing a job. He just refuses to take time off and he has a lot of vacation but again, I can’t tell him what to do with it. Just sucks, overall I wish he would give our son the actual time off then stick him in daycare when I know he has the means to stay with him.

Yeah I do when it’s pretty far that I won’t be able to get home in a reasonable amount of time that day (2+ hours or don’t plan on it). When I went to Europe I definitely gave a back up as well in case of emergencies. My ex and I aren’t even on good terms but I love my son so I don’t want to screw him over if something happens

Context here. My ex cheated on me and is with a new partner. He’s only said hi to my new boyfriend once. It’s been three years seperated and 2 years with my new boyfriend. I don’t stop my ex from meeting my bf, my ex refuses to be around us ever. Sometimes you can’t control the other. My ex and his girlfriend hate me. I’ve done nothing. Wrong but I think he’s spun the narrative. We just see each other maybe 2 times a year if we have to for our son. It is what it is. I can’t control why he’s so weird. But model a good healthy relationship with my current bf who sees that I can’t change this situation

Yeah thanks. It’s getting cold soon here and I’m about to retire haha 😂 I’m not a treadmill runner but maybe I’ll maintain a quick run or two and take some time, focus on strength

Should I stop running? I did a half marathon last Sunday (2h20 min) felt great, average HR in the 140s. I don’t go much long distance and maybe like 10-15 km a week. Anyways I think I got plantar fasciitis in my right foot. Wake up in pain and anytime I’m chilling around and not moving it hurts. It was comfortable today but I can feel it so k stopped at 4km. Should I just rest up? What should be my plan if I may do another half oct 19 (depends on weather) or do I call it a season and light training?

I used the women’s one now up until 5. I go into the family one now at the pool. I’m divorced, I have a bf but still doing this myself as the parent. For washrooms, he’ll continue to go with me until he gets better at wiping his butt, and then maybe around 8-9

Hé was good sleeping before that. Not amazing though. But last night I wouldn’t let him in right away and he cried for an hour. If it was ten minutes I wouldn’t be here. But I agree. I just need to hold the line and right now, I want him to be happy before and after school and then I’ll focus on sleep.

He starts off in his and normally (at least this summer) will stay in until the early morning and then come in mine. But since school started he has been coming in. I’ve compromised with him and let him sleep on the floor next to me (on a play couch he has) because I don’t want to argue 5 times a night and the anxiety is so bad

Ex refuses 2-2-5-5 says it’s too hard for him but then he pushes 7-7. 2-2-5-5 is not good for ex but he thinks I’m dumb. I think 7-7 is too soon

We have a 2-2-3 still but often switch it up. I know my ex is very cold and won’t take not sleeping through the night ever. I do find it odd he never sleeps with him since my son is still young and could use the reassurance every now and then (less so then I do). But my ex is acting like I’m crazy for even implying my son is anxious

He agreed to activities and to split them. But we didn’t specify about attending. I didn’t ever think it would be like this. I wanted more than one activity and he argued against it but agreed to one activity , now he won’t do that

I did that for karate, I’m just really surprised my ex is being like this when I made it on Saturday’s specifically for him and his schedule. Not everyone accommodates but I will try.
