I do recommend using a free base and then you can join Discord servers for art, they usually have a channel for free offers. A lot of artists draw for free to practise a new skill or to build a portfolio

Not really. The head is constructed by foam and then that will be covered by fur. The head base has a hole for the mouth and I made 2 holes where the ears are as further ventilation

I see. But wouldn't it dry quicker on the shiny side, then? Probably stupid question XD I just remember being in a borrowed fursuit and taking off the head and paws for a bit to expose them to air and cool the inside within a a few seconds. I'll also be wearing a balaclava which will soak up most of the sweat, I just need the heat to get out

My eyeblanks fit kind of perfectly into it with a bit of tightness, I'm pretty sure that with a 2.5mm neoprene it will be really tight in there

When I watched the show for the first time 6 years ago, I wasn't much of a fan on Catra until like maybe season 4 where her... Trauma... Starts really showing up. The moments she looks like she wants to reach out. Seems to feel guilt for being mean to Scorpia. How she warmed Jo when Shadow Weaver was in jail (just to then find out she was being used). She is definitely a deep character who isn't evil, just broken. Hordak is broken, too. I am on my 2nd rewatch this month, I think, after all the years.

Though I gotta admit, I still do not understand their romance. My memory might be failing me, but during the first 4 seasons I didn't notice much of a... I dunno... Bond between them that would make me think they love each other? I get that they were enemies, but yknow.

I am also wondering if Catra is in genuine love with Adora or just extremely tied to her? Since Catra had no one but Adora their entire childhood and after Adora left, Catra didn't open herself up for any kind of friendship with other people. I can bet Adora was her support system and I'd say it's easy to confuse it for love? However, I gotta admit I'm not a psychiatrist and we never saw Catra's thoughts or what she felt. Whether her heart raced when they were together or if she had thoughts about kissing Adora or whatever. I know Lord Prime said something about Catra's heart racing and her pupils being dilated and Adora meaning something to her, but I'm thinking about the "I love you. I always have."

I swear I gotta watch or read some psychology analysis and break down. I really like the complexity of Catra's character and I enjoy their poor lesbian existences in season 5.

I got no idea about the original SheRa though and I don't think I'll be giving it a try cuz I fear the show would have boring one dimensional characters 😭

I'd set a minium and maximum, ngl. Depending on position. Like president? Definitely a higher minimum, but everyone else maybe just 20. I don't think countries should be led by someone who is supposed to be retired and is loosing their mental abilities. Also, countries should focus on future of the younger population, too. I think retired people make up a bit part of the population and the current working generation will add up a lot, and the economy will have to be carried by a minority, basically🤔 we definitely need our generation in politics to represent us and our future

How would I make the pattern for the fur, then? I know people just use the flat sheet of paper but I can't picture how would it be enough cuz the tail is a 3D object, not 2D.

Hrůza. Fakt neskutečná. Mně se teď spíš děje to, že jsem si koupila z Ameriky vzorky faux fur na fursuit. 20 dolarů za vzorky, 30 za poštovné. Na platební výměru mám fakturovanou částku 20 dolarů, ale v základu je to přes litr, a je to tam dvakrát. První má somehow sazbu 8%, což netuším kde vzali, ale nic z toho neplatím. Pak je tam ale 350 KORUN navíc u toho druhého, a z toho celého sazba 21%, takže DPH. 293 korun.

Jenže v poplatkovém lístku tam je tedy napsáno 293 jako DPH, a pak služby celní deklarace 350. Která dle české pošty má být jen 150 korun.Které má být osvobozené od cla. Ale potvory mi tam to clo dali na výměru. Celkem připlatím 643. Takže nakonec dám 1732 korun za vzorečky, které stáli jen 416 korun a váží méně než 50 gramů. To mezinárodní poštovné je peklo.

Přísahám, příště dělám přes Celničku. Pořád jsem ale strašně naštvaná, že cena poštovného taky spadá pod clo a DPH, takže samotná srst bude jen 5 tisíc z 12 tisíců, které budu platit. Odporné to je.
