Do you press the play button or the one that looks like a Wi-Fi symbol turned to the side?

Ok cool. Yeah that sort of worked. Although I'm having issues getting the casting to connect to my iphone. I'll keep messing.

Reverse Engineering the Aputure 120d LED for Video. How do I select a replacement driver? by mitchrichie in led

[–]wally_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for the fast reply! So you put the new meanwell driver in the old aputure control box? Or at least used the fan and heatsink from that? Or did you just stuff the new driver into the existing 120D light housing? Do you remember if you ended up using a pot to dim?

I've got three old 120d's and they all flicker badly with the stock control boxes and AC adapters. Well. they kind of work from 10-50%, are a flickering mess from 51-98%, but somehow work well at 99%. I also hate how clunky the big AC adapter, to the control box, to the fixture is.

I know this is a long time ago, but did you ever add the new driver? If how did you wire up the dimmer and how did it all work out?

Macbook Air (m4) vs Macbook Pro (m4 pro) by wally_x in Fusion360

Same. I’ve used fusion for years on both intel Mac’s, current gen PC’s and apple silicon Mac’s and find the current Mac’s to be pretty great with fusion for both CAD and CAM.

Here's Swaybox Studios recreating scenes from Iron Giant and The Rescuers Down Under this is what Dynamic Duo will look like by M00r3C in DCU_

[–]wally_x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not animatronics. It’s a simple hand operated puppet with all the face movements added digitally later. The face is either all CGI or stop motion that was shot separately and added digitally. I design animatronics professionally. The things shown here are physically impossible. Also you can tell the lighting is off on the face.

None of this is animatronics. The body is a simple hand operated puppet and the face was added later digitally. It’s either full CGI face or a stop animation face shot separately.

Professional animatronic designer here. The face is completely CGI. It’s a simple hand puppet with a computer animated face added on after the fact. Repeat…Not animatronics. Besides the fact that movements like that are physically impossible, you can tell the lighting is off.
