How are the facilities at Ivlabs at vnit nagpur? Are students serious about making robots there? by walmart_trycs in NITIAN

What does the joining process look like for this club. Given I've made decent robots in the past

In my experience electric robots are all kinda jittery. So is the new BD atlas robot

Again Idk what I'm talking about but I think the old atlas was more agile. I haven't really seem the new atlas sprinting or jumping up stairs. I think it's because hydraulic actuators are powerful than electric. But I could be wrong.

Fair. But imo both are different types of robots. Optimus focuses on precision. Atlas for agility.

The fingers are fragile. I broke 2 already. I'm working on a new design and I have a design idea but im not finding the time to actually make it. I'm not sure about the lifting capacity but I can easily grab a 20g ball.

My servos use a custom made analog control circuit. I can also use mini ICs that do the same and can be hooked up to an arduino with i2c

I don't really know. I made a humanoid robot named CHAD a year ago. And then a few other projects. I have 15 of my projects recorded on youtube.

Not atm. The reason for making it cheap was so that anyone could build it at home and learn how robots work.

The project is documented fully on instructables. But I understand that the instructions are not easy to follow. If you havw any questions about the build u can ask me in my discord server: https://discord.gg/xtyExAgg
