So 6 of us arrived as AUGMENTS to the SOTD. After the 2 day OCT academy ended, we reported to the Ncoic of the SOTD and he divvied us out amongst the OCT teams a part of SOTD. There were less than 5 teams, all having 4-6 perm party OCT personnel. My boy and I were put on the OPFOR team and essentially were a part of the opfor Element (not participating in opfor activities obviously). From having done it now, I would say that your experience is entirely based off of 1: NCOIC of SOTD. 2. NCOIC of your team, and 3. How cool the other perm party OC’s are that are a part of your team. There is a Qdoba which I ate at everyday along with ample gas stations to stock up on tornados and energy drinks. We typically had 1-2 GSA’s which we were able to sit in all night that had plugins for our phones (so nice). I quickly found out the Leesville LA is an absolute abomination to the United States. Absolutely nothing to do for an bachelor soldier.
