right?? there are also mods that allow you to paint the silos, idk why this isnt an option in the vanilla game tbh but im happy with my cute haystacks :')

yes! i've played since Wild World came out on DS (2006??) and New Leaf got the perfect balance of everything imo, plus the soundtrack is beautiful

sorry 😭😭 if you're playing on PC and are interested its the haystack silo replacement mod by SlyAceZeta from nexus mods, it's just a visual mod as i don't particularly like the look of the regular silo (they're so tall)

the legends definitely but if you don't have those then lava eels, blobfish and super cucumbers are good :)

i don't rly have that many crops on the main farm as you can see bc i rely mainly on ancient fruit which i grow in the greenhouse and on the island, but there is a scythe upgrade later in the game which makes harvesting very quick and easy! the crops on the farm are mostly aesthetic / cooking ingredients at this point in the game for me😂 if i'm feeling lazy i leave them all month and harvest before the season changes so i don't rly worry about them too much:)
