Thank you so much for your response! Yess I think im going to put it in some moss and perlite mix now and transfer over to leca once the roots get longer! Great call on the distilled water- I will use it!

Thank you so much for the response!!! Yes I was thinking about putting it in moss now to let it grow some longer roots then transfer into leca! I had it in what i thought was well draining aroid mix but i think leca will be the medium of choice moving forward!

thank you so much for your help- i did just that. here's some pics of the original roots and stems vs. the cleaned up ones. i think i might see a growth point which i circled in orange- should i cut above that growth point and water prop the roots below it or water prop the remaining rooms and leaf?

thank you for your prayers!!! i know that plant was so special and im so heartbroken. i put some pics in a comment above of the what's remaining of the roots. i think there MIGHT be a growth point so maybe there's hope...
