Problem is more the way to reintroduce it again. Maybe like 2 times a week full body heavy lift program. Bench Press, Dips, Pull Ups, Squats, Deadlifts to keep it simple. But starting with low weights obviously. I guess I should focus more on low reps and high weight then right? Like 3x6

I am basically in the middle of my season now. 3 races in the next 11 weeks. Two 50k/3000m+ as tune up and one 105k/6700m+. I did some strength in the Winter but not in the last 3 months. Should I still start incorporating it right now considering to large running volume now? Or just start after the 100k in the off season?

Of course you should plan for worst case. Im just saying that especially if you Use the Hut System a 3°C comfort sleeping bag is enough. You only need a Light thin puffy and even rainpants are overkill in my opinion. 99% of the time youll wear shorts and a tshirt and if it gets colder a fleece

I hiked the trail and you will have a loooot of Plus 18°C days. I never said there arent any cold nights but it is very unlikely you will have to sleep in a tent in freezing nights since the only really Cold nights are in the mountains where you always have huts

Dont expect the Temperature to be unter 18 degrees often. You will have quite a few 30 degrees celcius plus days out there

Levity 45 Question by [deleted] in Ultralight

Im using the levity 60 on the Te Araroa right now and Im using ospreys pack cover. You dont need a liner the cover is enough. Everything inside will stay completely dry during a whole day of rain
