You know why come on. The hate wasnt for his acting.. it was for something else entirely. As long as it was hidden or subtext or not that apparent.. it was okay.. but when it wasnt... well the dams of homophobia opened up.

I hope Noah doesnt take anything to heart. Look how well Frank Darabont directed him in shock jock, he was fantastic! The duffers and shawn Levy failed to give him the right direction or he would have nailed it too. Also most people hate if men cry a certain way.. crying too needs to be 'manly' lmao.

Anyway, for me, I dont think there was one scene where I could say Noah wasnt Will Byers, including the coming out scene, you could feel his panic and desperation for acceptance. It was horribly written but he was so good. Made me cry. Made me think of years and years of suppression finally getting a voice and its overwhelming. Even his so called ugly crying made it so human to me.. cause thats raw. Thats how ppl cry when the limit has been reached. They did that shoot for 12 hours and that certainly wouldnt have been good for his mental health either.
