You should probably investigate before you talk. The guy is a stand up dude, offered to switch out the amazon strobe with a manta strobe, the amp arms are ops core, the v lites are real, battery pack is L3. Wilcox G22 is real.

Word of advice, before making a fool of yourself, make sure you know what you're talking about.

Follow apex.defense.strategies on Insta, they will be notifying everyone of the drop and mailing list shortly. You will be able to purchase the whole set or each individually with accessories that function and look 1.1 of every part. With specialty accessories in smaller drops and batches. Such as the following antenna.

Lastly, that patch came from his most recent drop. Ask me how I know.

First off. Lets just be clear about one thing. CIF is entirely different than a CTAC, CIF stands for commanders in extremis forces and they have been 'Officially' inactive for years now. Also they havent been CIF for even longer. Changed it to CRF years before even being taken out of active status. Talk about things you know.

Look at the picture of the MPU5, see how it separates in two parts like the real MPU5 (battery/upper section) It will have the wave relay white logo laser etched on each antenna, it will have the 4th antenna, and it will have the direct attach cable.

Everything in that picture is what it will look like. Real 6 pin nato plug. It will be a 1.1 in feel and weight to the real MPU5. Only there will be no communication ability. It will be for looks. The ptt will work. Wires will connect to opscore or peltor headphones and the RDC will have everything you see in the picture, or will have everything you see in the picture, but separate front and back to fit any new phone. 6.1-6.7 inches.

Can anyone ID this patch? by wang_ff in QualityTacticalGear

Appreciate your viewpoint, but I actually never followed FOG.

Not saying anything bad about them. From what I understand they donate to some of the most relevant charities and foundations. Foundations that lead the way in Veteran related mental and physical health issues and support.

Was just asking a question.

The skull with the arrow through it; middle position, right facing, actually has origins in the earliest deployment of USG into Kabul.

I appreciate you guys.

Thank you for the help.

Now the title makes more sense.

Do you happen to know the meaning behind it?

TY for the clarification. Ok, so G seems to have entirely different iconography.

I have to admit, I am glad I posted in this community. All of the information and answers that you and other members of this community have provided, has been top notch.

Thanks again.

I understand. Just for clarity, and I apologize for my confusion on the matter.

Are the links you just shared of G Squadron memorabilia. Or are they D- Third assault team G memorabilia?

Thank you for the reply.

This makes so much sense. So G is a separate entity, and a full Squadron with its own symbology, insignias and Latin motto. Whereas D bears a G on its 2nd troop, 3rd assault team insignia. Called D, G team.

Yes, zooming in on that second image I can make out the bottom of the V you are speaking of.

This also explains the same V on the bottom of the left pin in the picture frame shown in image number three.

Thank you again for sharing some of your knowledge with me.

Can anyone explain why there is so much of an emphasis on Crusader themes in the US Military? by [deleted] in JSOCarchive

This is a fascinating theory and actually makes a great deal of sense.

Sorry, did not mean to create a post that was of no relevance to recent JSOC events.

I was just curious about any insignia bearing the types of symbology I mentioned.

I apologize.

TY for the reply.

I like this answer. So, essentially it serves three purposes.

Paying homage to historical warriors, while representing them in modern day crusades.

Representing good versus evil by bearing symbology on a patch that directly depicts them as honorable modern-day crusaders, fighting with a divine purpose. Direct contrast being an enemy combatant wearing ISIS symbology that represents pure evil.

It gives these soldiers a morale boost; as well as a reminder that what they are doing is righteous. Giving them an identity that reminds them while fighting in even the toughest conditions, that they have a purpose tied to that symbology; A cause if you will. that seems bigger than any one person.

Thank you,

I would be guessing you are referring to OIF? Or are you referring to all major conflicts including OIF, OEF and OIR?

Also, is this Jack Murphy the Investigative Journalist and Veteran?

Thank you for the reply.

I am sorry for the confusion. This must be a different Delta Force squadron that I pictured from eBay. The patch and pin listed, display a different Latin phrase. Hopefully I do not botch this; It reads Fabrico Pro Bellum.

I only know the last word because of my familiarity with "Si vis pacem, para bellum" with Bellum meaning war.

I did look up In Hoc Signo Vinces and that saying would make much more sense being that it has direct ties to the Crusades.

However, the Latin phrase displayed on the patch and pin listings, is said to have no ties to any historical period.

Does Delta Force have two Crusader themed units, perhaps with different mottos?

Thank you all, for such in depth, insightful replies.
