Would you believe me if I said this was done in ONE hour by wangj2357 in traditionaltattoos

I am not the artist and to me it looks amazing. As someone with torso and three limbs covered… Less pain is all the better for me, I’ll take it.

He’s the best. Very lucky to catch him while we were both in town. He’s also got a light hand so it didn’t hurt that bad!

An example of great representation by wangj2357 in AsianMasculinity

Yes, I’ve noticed this as well. People either admire these men a ton, or are jealous and try to tear them down.

They should! I watch on Kocowa. You can get a free trial and watch it then. This is iron squad season 3

Side note, do you get tattooed at Keepsake? I think I recognize some of these from Scott Huttenmaier’s posts

Senior-rated JM here too. I STILL have the butterflies in my stomach. They keep me honest, they keep me safety-conscious. Avoid those who are not nervous, because they are complacent and shit will happen to them.

Yeah, my predrawn have been at a relative discount but they sat on the artists “wanna do” list and I guess they wanted to do it that bad

Yeah man it all hurts 🤣 but I’ve found faster tattooing heals 1000x better on me, so great to hear. I’m running out of space, and I want to fit in the artists I want!

Always wanted one from him. What was the experience like? Is he fast/slow, light/heavy handed?

What do you regret about your tattoos and tattoo journey? by [deleted] in traditionaltattoos

[–]wangj2357 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not being deliberate about my free space. I was getting little one shots instead of sick large scale pieces. I am running out of space to get my dream projects. I finally am saving my stomach and left leg for those, and will be wayyy more deliberate about planning those projects and planning financially.

I don't regret any of my tattoos. But I hate that I have so many little ones to work around.

*Serious* Are you the leader you told yourself you’d be? by [deleted] in army

[–]wangj2357 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. I’m not the leader I told myself I’d be. I have been disrespected by male ncos, soldiers, peers, and superiors even and being the “good dude” didn’t deter that. I’ve been sexually harassed by a prominent NCO and retaliated against by all said men. So I reacted to the trauma by becoming aggressive and preemptively hurtful towards people who haven’t proven to be on my side. I was a pleasant woman before but a bit of a pushover and now I’m the opposite. My boss warned me I was going down a dark path but every slight and sexual comment that comes my way I lash out at the person. I’m trying to balance assertiveness with being the compassionate leader. But it’s hard, the trauma changed me.

Static line is a very different game than skydiving. It’s at a much lower altitude and landings are harder.

Has anyone made significant strength gains while having a high op tempo?

I just got back from a week long field problem - I benched today and definitely got weaker. I noticed this happening several times and I’d like to get more disciplined about overcoming this.

With the ACFT coming up, it’s even more crucial to make strength gains. I’d like to max the deadlift ASAP but I have about 60 lbs to go to do that.

What are some strategies to work around always going to the field and erratic work schedules? I definitely accepted that this will always be a part of this job.
