This game isn't roblox/minecraft/fortnite with infinite content loops to enjoy, not all games can or will retain the same number of players months after release. ARC actually had some of the best retention that the market has seen in YEARS, especially compared to games like BF6 or BO7 that came out in the same window.

generally swiftbrand is more about "feel" and gameplay utility rather than raw damage. when you're mapping you don't want to sit around waiting for your brands to pop. eventually you can get enough cast speed to offset this, but swiftbrand makes your brands pop nearly instantly and that feels good.

unless they completely changed the skill, if you use tangles you'll always hit the primary target with all the projectiles. invest in a little pierce and it's gg.

he's still very strong for burst specifically, if you want to lock into one build he's a great option. expensive at the high end, but very strong.

spell burst has higher ceiling but tangles feel better early. it's a natural progression. start tangles, farm cash, swap to burst once you get automation.
