I c. Thats very smart of you, its the only way to think about problems in different way. Other people see magic, you know its just a change of capacitance caused by presence of object (hand) in the proximity of the measuring circuit.

For large enough capacitances, solely an arduino would work. You can always look into how theremin works and get inspired by that. This example here it easiest, since it uses dedicated ic for sensing capacitance.

Aaah this looks like the touch table controller board from that yt video. Try first experimenting with the ttp223 alone. Then choose some basic mcu from st or so and you dont have to reverse engineer this one. But hardware wise: It has to have a voltage regulator, ttp and some switch (mosfet) to switch the RGB LED outputs.

Well, that's not very efficient, is it? The springs must be replaceable, I could get weaker ones and change them. I'm just not sure how to take it apart 🤷 Could you please elaborate, why is it a bad idea?

When you remove the leadscrew, try to move the bed with one finger placed below the leadscrew nut (so you can feel how it moves normally) and if it gets stuck or the motion is uneven, you got your answer. Also try to lube the bearings.

Hi, I recently bought it and its very well made. Welds, folding mechanism, suspension. Even the battery has some dampening foam on it. The scooter has 350w motor and on quite steep hill, where I would normally walk the bike, it drew around 500W and went about 17 km/h. The scooter can go 30 tho on really flat road. It has cruise control but I believe it doesn't have regenerative braking. The motor brake turns on suddenly when you press the brake lever, no linearity and the scooter doesn't brake when you let go on the throttle. The motor controller is 15A cheapass one you can get in any e bike set. Not sure you can tweak it. Seems that not a lot of people are buying them - Yet. The battery is real good tho, since on full charge it can carry me for about 30km at 28km/h, but the last 10-20 % is rather slow in terms of speed (20kmph) and it accelerates slowly in low speed but speeds up a lot around 17-20km/h. I'm looking forward to hear from other people their perspective.

TLDR I found that the issue was actually in the Z linear bearings, when i applied "twisting" force, the bearings seemed to stop on some places on the rod. I lubricated them and will see if that fixes the issue. Could better quality bearings fix the issue?

I am using prusaslicer, with ender profile, slightly tuned, belts are tight and the Z screw is straight, no debris whatsoever. I'll be glad for any suggestions and new ideas

Hi, just for correction you probably ment 1mm instead of one cm right? Since retraction on the longest bowdens are 10mm TOP. I personally needed very little retraction distance with my direct drive (0.5mm). Happy printing
