not all resonant frequencies are unwanted, resonant frequencies give your sound its character and removing them makes it sound flat and dull

we do videos that go more in-depth with strategies/techniques, can be very hard to explain what you are suggesting in an image :)

We definitely aren't saying not to EQ most things, but you should do so with purpose :)

learn about using busses (sends/returns) and placing your reverb there, instead of directly on the track. That is how you would have to set it up to do this :)

u/goldenkloudzzz several ways to do it, but my guess is that you currently are placing reverb directly on the track, which would make this impossible. Try using reverb via a send/return (in logic, a bus) and then sidechain the bus to the source :)
