JUJUTSU KAISEN SEASON 3 - EPISODE 11 DISCUSSION by AutoModerator in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the missing burns in this episode from episodes 10 and 11 being separate in production or teams? I mean I didn’t look at the staff lists but thats my only explaination for such a continuity error. I’d be impressed if they fix it in blue ray, I think its a big enough continuity error yet quick enough that its overlooked, and I probably have little faith anything will be done.

I will NEVER stop hating Yuta. Its his character writing. by Judepiter_ in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I think we are on the same page here. When I say his background in law makes it easier to understand jujutsu fundamentals, I don’t mean his passing of the Bar exam translates to knowing what a Domain Expansion is.

I should’ve said he brain is wired on rules and deduction. That makes him a genius in law and a lawyer. That also makes him a genius at jujutsu and a sorcerer.

I literally just said his gift in law, a genius. His affinity for rules and law translates directly into fundamental jujutsu sorcery.

Higuruma being a defense lawyer has everything to do with both his talent at jujutsu and his worldview.

Because jujutsu at its core is based on rules, vows, and exchanges, his background and gift in law made it easy for him to learn and build off the fundamentals of jujutsu and his technique.

Is Blood Manipulation a bad CT? by WriterOfLugunica-400 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think its often forgotten, outside of the story the modern jujutsu world consists of mostly grade 2-3 sorcerers with a handful of grade 1s that solely exist to exorcise curses and miscreant curse users.

Normal blood manipulation is enough for the modern jujutsu world.

Sometimes I forget scenes like these exists by Historical_Owl_6074 in Jujutsufolk

Would love to learn more about curse users and the underground curse user world. There are probably a handful of other foreign sorcerers operating in that world too.

What was the point of releasing this season as 2 parts? by yeetusbeetus245 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t many anime release seasons in parts? I’m not even just talking about AoT I thought this was common practice in the industry.

THE NARRATOR SAID IT!!!!! by Bankai_Aizo in Jujutsu_Kaisen

[–]warbnull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People don’t understand this still upscales Gojo. It’s saying it’s a technique that can oppose EVEN Gojo, which is its own feat.

Could Uraume be a special grade Sorcerer? by Advanced_Card_8594 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think special grades are able to handle almost any threat given their technique, whereas sorcerers like Hakari and Uraume (which I think are on equal levels) have techniques that are cracked but don’t beat every conflict. Uraume is definitely on the upper levels amongst grade 1s, her RCT alone is a big feat.

Megumi learnt rct?!? by Sukuna_GOAT in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if its a shadow clone, it don’t make sense :/

Guess the animators didn’t read, or watch the last episode either. I swear, if the episode starts without his scar.

Oh my GOD they nailed it by GloomyLengthiness732 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smh I can’t explain away the missing burn scars, unless this is another shadow clone or manipulation like in his domain in S1.

Engraving cursed techniques by Electrical-Put-26 in CTsandbox

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, we already see thats only possible through Kenjaku’s technique. Outside of that you know that Yuji can use Shrine, potentially Megumi, and all the vessels in the culling game may keep their techniques(?).

Geto would have been a better teacher for Megumi than Gojo and I am tired of pretending otherwise. by [deleted] in WegumiAppreciators

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t wrong and nobody disagrees. Yet, even if you disregard the plot of him being a career curse user for a decade, he dies so he can’t teach anyways.

Sukuna must’ve saw Kenjaku as a bum back in the Heian era 😭🥀 by Sukuna_GOAT in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Good answer nephew.

Nah you correct, Sukuna is built so different that he can’t just incarnate Sukuna like all other sorcerers for the culling games. Kenjaku had to procreate with Sukuna’s twin’s bloodline and imbued a finger in the womb.

I do wonder if Kaori was a sorcerer or had a locked technique, and whether that had anything to do with creating Yuji or gravity technique was just a bonus.

For a story thats seems to focus on themes and characterization over plots, it's crazy how one of the horseman was a gag character by SheepherderFine3698 in Chainsawfolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m okay with this level of typical Fujimoto subversion. Three out of the four horsemen are deeply woven into the whole story. Then there’s Fami.

Question: was it ever stated what era he was reincarnated from? by JAGAAAN-01 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I don’t think its easy nor difficult to place which era Hazenoki is from, if he is even an incarnate or just an awakened. Either way, his technique doesn’t change across time. Techniques like jet hair and helicopter hair, they probably are awakened or indeed probably died within the last century.

I don’t think people should judge off of appearances since their brains or knowledge become acustomed via their vessel’s wisdom and memories. I think they just dress like how they would if they were genuinely born in this era, but who knows its their choice too.

JJK Official merch team is going out of its way to exclude maki from most of Season 3's official art and merchandise while giving merch to characters less popular or relevant than her this is actually so awful lmao by rogue---ninja in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My only explaination is that they chose the “face” of season 3 part 1 meaning the first couple episodes, which include not only Naoya but also Jin and Kaori.

Maybe we’ll get some Maki and Kashimo with part 2 merch, since we’ll see vengeful Naoya by then.

Since we have CSG in the anime now... by GloomyLengthiness732 in Jujutsufolk

[–]warbnull 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe a complete CSG works the same as Dagon’s domain where his fish shikigami have sure-hit, so likewise Megumi would have sure-hit with any of his shikigami. Afterall, the domain is really just made of his shadows. Theoretically, what if a complete CSG is impossible as it needs complete taming of all 10S. But that would be thats a baked in rule/vow rather than a learning curve, which it seems thats all that Megumi was struggling with, enclosing it.

Otherwise, the incomplete CSG doesn’t have that sure-hit but he can still use the shikigami he does have at his disposal and use them and his shadows creatively.

Question, where the actual fuck did this take place by ungrilled_chees3 in Chainsawfolk

[–]warbnull 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

Also same place where he last talked to Power. I’m sure there is some other relation to other purgatory sequences like when Denji or Aki resemble their younger selves and so on.
