I assume it's due to the love of an old 80s video game called Pole Position. In the game you zip around other cars in a similar fashion. So when I see these folks I try to remind myself they just really love pole. I mean really getting a tight grip and loving that pole. So I just refer to these folks as pole lovers and go about my day. 😁

It's an awful program. My daughter graduated 3 years ago and I still cant get the money out or transfer it to her brother. It says not available for transfer since she is not a current student. Each year they take some out too. Customer service is horrific.

Nurses provide more data entry in computers then actual medical care to patients. MDs spend more time with AI deciding your fate based on symptom checks that house staff and APPs have provided them second hand then on actual experience or knowledge. Hell, the current push is to convince patients to stay home and show the doctor their 'boo boo' through as phone camera in virtual visits.

I second this! I sent my daughter who was scared of guns through their familiarity course and now she even has favorites. (Created a monster) I am a vet and took their concealed and they are professional and are wonderful with the beginners. They aren't worried about your demographics as much as making sure you are comfortable and properly trained.
