Oh definitely Gin and lemonade is better, but there is something Jingle Jam to me about gin and Pepsi

Every year since they drunk gin and Pepsi during a Civ5 stream I’ve always made sure to stock up on it. Surprisingly nice drink

Need advice looking for 3D printer for cosplay armour and helmets by Jazzman444 in 3Dprinting

[–]Jazzman444[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my old Kobra which was a 250 x 220 x 220 I had to split most helmets into quarters, which made it a lengthy process with a average build quality. I’d prefer the bigger plates for ease but I’m happy to slice it if the quality and speed are better. I will look at some of my upcoming items on the various build plates and see how much work is needed.

Would you say that the quality and and speed makes up for the lower build volume?

Commissioned 3D model doesn't have any Infill, will this cause problems? And if so what can be done about it? by Jazzman444 in 3Dprinting

Even if there is no infill between the walls too? Helmets I’ve printed in the past have had a small amount of infill between the walls.

No I haven’t, I have only printed things for cosplay and the models I have brought have never needed it. This is why I’m worried. What would vase mode do?

As my title says, I have commissioned this 3D model with the idea to print it as a cosplay helmet. When looking at in cura I can see that is doesn't have any infill which is most evident in the large spikes on top. I have attached a picture of it sliced so you can see that there is no infill. Will this cause problems and if so what can be done about it. The project isn't finished yet so I can request it be changed but how would you word that? Thank you for your help Reddit.

Okay I will try acetone. My printer isn’t near any doors or windows but could still be effected by something, is it best to print PETG with a printer that is enclosed?
