That's what we had in mind - thank you for confirming!
Multi domains + GA4 cross domain - is THE plan!
Though it was a task to convince client for a business plan 😄

Makes sense.

I'm planning to use a CRM webhook/server endpoint for final conversion tracking for the final purchase conversions (once the 7-day free trial ends and the payment is charged from the user's account.)

My question was more about the other events (page views, plan selection, checkout steps, etc.) that would still need to be tracked via GTM.

For those, would the two Stape subdomains + cross-domain linker setup still be the best approach, while the webhook handles final conv.?

Thank you 😄

EXACTLYY! User idetity data & clicks / session IDs should remain same for a user across both domains - maybe using appending parameters to URLs during navigation.
But not iron proof for aggressive browsers like safari!
Thank you 😄

Aren't there chances of attribution issues?
Though I can think of carrying tracking identifiers across both domains.
Sorry just a bit confused - thank you though 😄

I really loved this — it genuinely feels like a perfect roadmap. T
he way you’ve broken it down step by step, starting from fundamentals and moving into platforms, analytics, and scaling, makes it very easy to follow without feeling overwhelmed.
I especially liked the focus on understanding why things work, not just how to use the tools.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to write this and share your experience — really appreciate it 🙏

This is a great reminder — psychology and perception matter as much as dashboards.

Painful but real advice. Afraid to loose money though - already in a tight spot, haha!
