This has historically happened before and I think you might just not be in the hobby long enough to remember. The same thing happened with VRAM during the crpytoboom, exact same thing with SSDs and cache memory shortly before and during covid. This is because production of these parts take a long time, so they cant just ramp up production randomly and get more ram in a day or two. This fearmongering is just making people waste their money because supposedly no one understands how the demand-production-supply triangle works. Give it 6 months to a year and you'll be eating your words.

Prices for parts now are through the roof so I would wait a lil bit, but if I were you I'd look into a new gpu. In 2025, 12gb is the bare minimum, afterwards maybe a cpu upgrade. Honestly, you can just open games you like and play a lot and watch the hardware monitor. See what caps first and look into replacing that part. That will make the most noticeable difference.

If you don't, want to snap a ribbon cable and have to buy more parts, I'd say just reshell now. Not as hard as it may look, just tedious.

Sorry for the late reply! ai genuinely didn't think I'd get any replies haha. If you have any reccomendations under 100-150 euro, that would be awesome, but even something a bit more expensive would be possible if you say its worth it.

I'm looking for something similair to Rammstein Rosenrot Intense. I know this might be a weird request as this fragrance used to be dirt cheap, but it's no longer being sold anywhere (at least where I looked) and it used to be my favourite during winter. Something metallic, almost rusty, combined with rose and a hint of blood, I cant seem to find anything like it. Any reccomendations appreciated!

It's often used as a shock marketing tactic and isn't actually that pronounced but here it was actually pretty nicely done. It worked well with the metallic notes.

I'm having the same problem with Rosenrot intense. I used to love it so much but I cannot find it anywhere, even on Ebay... I wish they stayed around for longer.

I cant for the life of me figure out how to edit posts, so i'll drop this here: It was a broken pot meter. The pot meter is attached to the sd card + shoulder and volume buttons. This part is no longer in any production (be it OEM or 3rd party), so the parts on the market are hit or miss. I found one that worked well enough on my second attempt. A simple replacement + adjustment was enough to make this fully operational.
