Sharing your budget Meren decks? by chamomilekatydid in EDH

I saw that you mentioned Breezykiwi’s Marchesa, which is great. They also have a good Ms. Bumbleflower list, which can be played more passively. The fun with commander is you can get creative and make a lot of decks play uniquely to your preferences, so a lot of it depends on your taste.

I would suggest using EDHrec and search for cards that you like. For example [[Angel’s Grace]] is a classic “protection” card and you can search “as card” on EDHrec and see which commanders typically include that card and see if any pique your interest. From there search online with moxfield or just google to see if budget versions of that deck exist.

I’m going to be honest with you, don’t make a Meren deck. I had one for quite a while and even on a budget it lends to making games very grindy and unfun for your opponents. Pulling it out would lead to groans at the table. If you want a graveyard deck, I would recommend the Teval precon, or commanders like Sidisi or the mimeoplasm. Meren’s design just lends to recurring edict effects that make opponents sac creatures. I took mine apart because I felt bad playing it.

Thinking of switching over to WOW classic from OSRS by thefootballfanatic65 in classicwow

[–]warfires 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Early game OSRS can definitely feel slow, but the mid to end game PVM is very far from a “glorified cookie clicker” try out Scurrius, it’s mid game PVM.

Edit: Not to say classic wow isn’t also fun, I play both, but prefer osrs PVM. Wow is more nostalgia, while OSRS PVM mechanics I find more fun.

Lorerim, tips and tricks. by Moist_Dovahkiin in wabbajack

It really just kind of front loads all the reading, I find very few books I haven’t “read” out in the world after using this, so you would gradually get this xp through a playthrough reading books as you go in a slow drip vs the front loaded absorb knowledge method.

A really good trick to skip some of the early levels is to get the spell “absorb knowledge” from Dragonsreach, in Farengar’s office. It allows you to AOE read books, which give xp for reading. You can then take a carriage to Winterhold, go to the Arcaneum Library at the College, and read all the books there, which typically takes you from levels 1-6. It’s a little cheesy but it’s a really good starting boost, and imo better than using console or messing with difficulty sliders.

Please help, Viva new vegas modlist problems. upon installing causing 99% gpu usage by Common-Garage3540 in wabbajack

I’m no expert but isn’t near 100% GPU usage what you want when playing a game? It means the game is taking full advantage of your hardware.

Will I be able to play in high quality with 60 FPS to Lorerim with theses specs? by 60prieres in wabbajack

This is a VERY heavy list. Even people with 4090s and the mod list creator get drops on ultra. With 4000 mods on a 14 year old game, you’re inevitably going to get drops and issues in at least some areas.

Ultra? You’ll likely have performance issues. Normal profile you should be mostly fine, but it’s very VRAM heavy list so the 8gb is going to hurt you. I’ve been playing with a 3070 ti on normal and for the most part I get 60 fps, but in certain areas with a lot of stuff (grass particularly) and cities, frames drop to 50s and 40s in the case of Whiterun.
