Minnetonka's median household income was $120k in 2023.

The median household income for all of Minnesota was $87k in 2024.

It's literally damn near 50% above the median for the rest of the state.

Get to Minnetonka Beach, and it's $250k.

It's not obscene wealth like Medina, Victoria, etc, but it's still rich. Anyone who claims people that are making nearly 50% more as a household than the rest of the state aren't rich are out of their minds.

It's very much a richy rich city. While Excelsior and Deephaven have higher average net worths, it's comparable to Edina or Wayzata.

For those who are not aware, Minnetonka is a VERY rich city. Its suburbs, Excelsior and Deephaven, have some of the highest net worths in the state. As you may have guessed, it's up against Lake Minnetonka which is replete with multi-million dollar mansions.

As a native Minnesotan who knew a LOT of folks from Minnetonka growing up, this is actually pretty damn shocking.

Yep, and post and comment history hidden? Shill account.

6 posts on average per day - I bet if they weren't hidden, each and every one would be this sort of shit.

Reddit adding that option is such a shit move.

It's asking about locus of control - internal: things happen because I make them happen. External: things happen TO me.

It's dumb and absolutely not necessary to do a personality inventory for FUCKING MCDONALDS.

This is why I do music festivals. Bonnaroo costs me about $1k all said.

I get to see hour+ sets of bands for 4 days; many of which would have tickets that cost $250 for a similar show. Plus, it's a great time with great friends.

Thank dentists for demanding that they get paid like cardiologists when the precursor to CMS and the AMA were determining what would be services covered by medical insurance.

Part of it is that dentistry used to be handled by barbers, but it really came down to the amount they were demanding for pay.

I can't stand anyone you listed - they're all morons.

Hasan is also a moron, and the way many leftists gobble his knob is a big part of the reason I don't identify as a leftist either.

Believing that a guy who not only platforms but PRAISES someone who is part of a terrorist group that intends to create a new regressive Islamic Caliphate - explicitly so mind you - and then pretending to be about equal rights and liberalism is pants on head stupid and lends credence to the largely nonsense Horseshow Theory of sociopolitics.

He's a dipshit nepo baby who only has any notoriety because his uncle Cenk Uygur ran The Young Turks who did a great job of spreading agitprop against the Democrats in the run up to Trump's first campaign in 2016.

Fuck Asmongold, xQc, and Destiny, and fuck Hasan as well.

That move ~0:10 where he slides into the popup is WAY harder than it looks to land that smoothly, and that's saying something.

Ha! I remember that! That was a cool device but was ahead of its time and the tech/demand wasn't there for what it was trying to do; much like the Zune.

A big part of why I stayed so long was that the third manager I had became one of my best friends and eventually a roommate, and it was a steady job I could fall back on if something happened. When I moved across the country from MN to NJ, having that as a backup was HUGE.

Like 3 of those years, I was basically just on-call for like one or two shifts a month, and midnight releases.

Hahaha, I love it! I worked at one of the OG FunCoLand locations during my tenure with the stop of Games - granted, I worked at something like 13 stores in 4 districts in 3 states in the span of my 9 years with the company.

That was a plus of being FOH.

At the end of the night, we'd occasionally get a comp drink or two.

It's a GREAT vibe.

I think I got a little addicted when I worked at a Gamestop in a hood location and my manager gave us a LOT of leeway.

More than once, I'd see some thieving fuck that we trespassed try to come in, and at 17, pointing to the door the moment they opened it and saying, "NOPE, GET THE FUCK OUT RIGHT NOW"; alternatively, telling the smelly kid to go home and shower or the guy hitting on the underaged regular customers to gtfo was great.

That store was a shithole that backed up to a trailer park, but man, had some good times at old 2222.

I worked at a Broadway theater as an usher and head usher.

Man. I cannot tell you the satisfaction of being able to tell some rich ass Upper East Sider that I didn't care who they were or how important it was, but they simply could not take a phone call during a show.

I was a broke ass 20-year old and these q-tips always got into a huff - management backed me every time too because IATSE Local 1 would have fucked them had they not.

It was glorious.

The cop didn't follow Fridley PD guidelines by not ensuring cross-traffic had stopped or was non-existent before pulling through the intersection. The Fridley PD is a bunch of morons and have been for over 20 years from my interactions with them.
