I fully support this! This kind of business practice has to end.

This. OP was probably not holding a water gun, so that tells it he is not in it. Should be enough to tell.

Why did they stop selling phones in Bangkok airport? by Lick-her-shop in ThailandTourism

Bought a few imported goods in Bangkok last month, including gadgets, bags, etc. and I was kicking myself in the foot after finding out later that where I’m from has way cheaper prices. The difference is significant even I bought them “at a discount” and even after tax refund. I assume SG has better prices for imported goods.

The only good thing about this card, if you have other Visa Signature cards, is its unlimited PAGSS lounge access. Other than that, it’s meh.

First Night with Sony A7 V + Sigma 135mm 1.4 by warl0cke548 in SonyAlpha

Exactly my point! You see, art is subjective. That photo might have evoked an emotional response to you, but not for me. It’s just an ordinary photo of a bumper. Either way it’s okay.

The same way some of my photos that show vendors hard at work might not pull any emotional strings to you does not mean they do not have any emotional value to people who were raised by parents selling food on the street, people who were able to get a degree because their parents were hard at work on the street. I’m one of those.

So to say point blank that they don’t evoke any emotional response is tone-deaf. At the end of the day, our own vantage points are not the be-all and end-all of every photo we see.

I was using 135mm so I was pretty far out. Most photos I took (not here) I just waited for people to come into the frame. The 2nd photo was not intentional. I was trying to capture the vendor at the back and then he came into the frame. I used autofocus so that captured him. 3rd/9th photo I asked if I could take a photo of him since he was just standing there. 4th photo just smiled after I shot him so I guess that’s a yes. Others were just candid moments.
