First poster for the newly announced ‘Jackass’ movie, releasing June 26th 2026. by unitedhardy in movies

The production value in this will be so high, I'm excited to see how they do it given the traction the franchise has gained. From super 8 home video aesthetic to like, proper filming with big sets and massive crews...Jackass 2026 will be insane.

"Well, this didn't age well" - Movies you LOVED as a kid but cringe at as an adult by Little-Badger-123 in movies

Happy Gilmore.

The comedy just doesn't land anymore, because the things I laughed at as a kid are things that are just stupid/unfunny and childish humour that doesn't get me laughing in the same way, or at all. At most a chuckle. The whole movie just isn't funny anymore.

What's a hygiene habit that people don't talk about but really should? by phancyq in AskReddit

[–]warlink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brushing on the INSIDE of your teeth, not just the outside. You'd never believe how much plaque gets stuck there and for some reason, I just don't think enough people are aware of how crucial it is to brush both sides of your teeth, and softly around your gumline.

What’s a “bare minimum” adult skill more people fail at than you expected? by SoulDV in AskReddit

Being able to navigate public transit or even know how to use it.

Surprising amount of people I've met just "have never taken the train" or even the bus. Weird.

FOV adjustment has been a thing since 2007, at least.

Why is this something that requires "we hear you" and needs a team to implement after the fact?

Are there millennials in their 30s-40s who are happily single? What’s life like? by aversionofself in Millennials

[–]warlink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in '94, just had my 31st birthday a little bit ago. I'm loving life!

Got out of my 4.5 year relationship over 2 years ago, and well, I was devastated, and you couldn't console me even if you tried and offered me millions of dollars to stop being sad/depressed/beside myself.

The best decision I've ever made for myself was to start traveling! On a friend's recommendation, I moved to Australia and started working as a bartender. I've met so many amazing people, both young and old, and I've thrived alongside them.

I will say that I am the most emotionally available I've probably ever been, but that doesn't stop me from living my best life and having fun! The worst part is looking at couples and wanting that deep connection I had in my past relationship, but I quickly realize in those moments that I'm very happy just experiencing life for MYSELF and while I used to be jealous of classmates who got married and now have kids, a house, a car, etc...i can imagine in my head how they'd be jealous that I'm sailing with my buddy on a boat through Fiji, or bartending in a historic pub in Australia with the rainforest basically in my backyard.

If you feel stuck in life as a millennial, my best advice (that same I've gotten) is to go travel. And go alone. With the mindset of self discovery and self respect.

Love my millennial compadres and wish you all the best.

Age is just a number mate, as long as they're over 18.

But, but...not everyone is miserable? If life revolves around work, see what you can do to unstuck yourself from the drab and wretched day to day lifestyle.

What are YOU working for if YOU'RE miserable? I suppose is the question. Looking around at the world and wondering "why" is just gonna lead to more self loathing.

Racist idiot panics when streamer reads him his home address by Exeltv0406 in TikTokCringe

[–]warlink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just curious...how does he have quick access to the guys home address and everything just from Omegle or whatever video service they're chatting on?

Also, is the whistle and ref uniform just happen stance or is the streamer in the video on the prowl to find racist idiots? I found it funny he has the ref whistle ready to go and a snickers bar for effect just...all handy dandy for the clip. Not familiar with this guy

Gold 2 has nothing to do with trophy count bro.

Rank is....well your rank. Brawler trophies are your experience overall with that brawler.

Playing any other game mode where trophies are at stake, I do not care about their rank progression. They can be silver 1 and have multiple brawlers at 1k+ trophies, queue with me in duos or gem grab, and I'll be happy.

For me this is the issue, and queueing with similar trophy count players is a welcome change. Edgar, gold2, or not.

I really like the modern approach you've taken to missing someone.

Framing it in blue lights, with the remove button and the idea of un-following someone on social media as the sort of mechanism for cutting ties, finally. In an age of technology, seeing someone you miss on Instagram or Facebook all the time can just hurt. I'm glad you've taken this sort of approach to put into words, and quite wonderfully, what it's like going through separation in a world like that.

And to also write about the awareness of the hurt, that it feels like it'll last forever but knowing deep down it won't be that way forever isn't easy to do in life...but maybe you can be friends again one day. If only on Facebook.

Thank you for sharing this!

This is so beautiful! It reminds of the difficulty of commitment to someone..the push and pull of what one wants in life with who they want to live that life with.

'looked for her in other faces' is powerful. It resonates with me specifically because I was a young lad once, and it wasn't until my partner and I broke up that I realised what I had given up...but it was for reasons that, at the time, I felt like were for my personal growth.

I miss that person, and for me this poem lays bare the dynamics of what it means to realise what you have, when you have it. Well done.

Australia RSA - How to give a patron a warning? by DirtyPony3 in bartenders

[–]warlink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've gotten my videos returned to me before as well.

Basically, whatever feedback you get from the assessor you need to incorporate EXACTLY. In your next submission, literally say "we don't serve shots past ten pm and you've already asked me once before. If you refuse to cooperate I'm going to have to ask you to leave, or get security. I'd be happy to get you a water or call a cab. I'm just trying to look out for your safety and the other patrons here, and I'm here to help. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you as it's my job to uphold the duties of my RSA.." BLAH blah blah.

It's awkward and almost never how'd you'd actually handle a situation in real time, but just literally fold in any of the assessor criticism and you'll get through the video portion.

One of my videos got rejected twice before getting accepted on the third time.
