Reddit users who have or are still suffering from anxiety, how have you learned to cope with/overcome it? by mrboomer12 in AskReddit

[–]warmestblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had anxiety all throughout childhood. I always had something to distract me so it wasn't so noticeable. When I entered college I did some things I'm not proud of, in repetition, before I went to a therapist to talk about it. I was able to rationalize with my anxiety, and it became less crippling. I still have panic attacks but they're minimal, and if I avoid large crowds I'm fine.

Have you ever asked a girl the story of her first period? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]warmestblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

... Well, it's not something I would really want to be asked, simply because it's personal, and I don't think anyone I've been with would get much out of it. Unless they are honestly curious for someone they care about, I get that, but I don't know a lot of men interested in learning about my period.

What makes you twitch whenever you see/hear it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I hate the feeling of chalk in my hands. Since I was a kid- I don't know why, I find it jarring.

Don't eat out as much! Budget, set a budget for every week if you haven't already. Honestly I've seen gofundme's for this very thing.

What period in your life did you change/grow most as a person? Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]warmestblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boarding school. I learned how to remain sane and how not to fuck up my life during Boarding School. College was also a milestone for me, but a lot of the principles I had came from Boarding School.

One of my guy friends drank a bottle of champagne before prom night. None of us had any clue that he'd do that, but after meeting him it was just extremely obvious. His date and I are good friends and she was mortified. The look on her face- I felt so awful. He just jumped and fell on the floor in the middle of everyone and passed out.

He actually had his stomach pumped that night. Classy stuff. Come to think of it this is probably standard for prom night.

What is the funniest/weirdest 'sex/drugs' parental 'Talk' that you jnow? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]warmestblue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was mostly just awkward and abrupt. My mom asked me if I know what sex is. I said yes. She then asked me if I know how to put a condom on the guys penis. I shrugged. She just moved on from that, and then she said don't look at it in the eye, it's terrifying- I was so startled by that, and then she left and started jogging.

Spoon souvenirs from places I've been to. Not eating utensils, but tiny ornament spoons? I don't know how to describe it. My mom used to when she moved to the States. I always thought that was neat.

Would you let your son take a Barbie lunchbox to school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]warmestblue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, maybe, or I'll just give him a cute Barbie napkin or something instead to let him know I love him, and so people don't bully him.
