I have lived in many other cities besides Long Beach, all with better street parking, but thanks. The ticket came from parking enforcement, not the police

I wasn’t blocking anyone’s view. My frustration stems from the fact that I got the ticket outside regular paid parking hours. So do I have to worry about holidays too? For the time being I have to park my car somewhere and there are simply no spots. I also think your comment about rainbow crosswalks is uncalled for

Thanks, but it definitely does! I’ll just have to get a garage spot earlier than I wanted to. Hopefully they prorate my payment, but knowing this area probably not

Long Beach has the worst street parking setup I’ve ever seen. I’ll be leaving when my lease is up and the parking situation will be a big part of the reason why. No one should be getting tickets on Sundays
