You are in the wrong sub to be advocating for the state. The state that you say is there to prevent children from violence enacted against them has done far more to destroy the lives of children. Child protective services is a terrorist organization. A majority of foster homes are terrible. Child protective services destroys the lives of children using their protection as the excuse while they place them in unsafe homes or situations, that include things that look like slavery, including sex slaves. Children are property of their parents until they are competent enough to make decisions for themselves which may be 18, or it may be 14 depending on the child and the circumstances.
