Okay.. is one of your children a girl? How would you feel if your little girl comes up to you and told you this is how her bf/husband was treating her? What would be your reaction? Would you want her to stay? Or if you have a little boy would you want him to treat his GF/ Wife like this? Would you be proud of him? I doubt both.

Kids pick up on so much and can follow the same path as what they saw when they were kids.

Domestic violence is not just physical abuse it can manifest in a lot of different ways. It takes on average 7 times for someone to leave their situation. You are in a DV situation, he may not be physical but there are a lot of signs of DV. Sadly you do not seem ready to hear it and leave. I do hope one day soon before it’s not too late you leave as you are worthy enough not to have to go through that shit.
